Caitlyn Mathis Daffodil Run We are an annual event that raises money for a non-profit scholarship fund. Caitlyn’s life tragically ended in February 2012 in a car accident.

The Caitlyn Mathis Daffodil Run was started in 2012 in order to honor Kiefer High School graduate Caitlyn Mathis. Her passion was children and it was her goal in life to earn her teaching degree and come back to teach and coach at the school that she loved so much. Caitlyn spent her whole life giving to others and being an example to everyone how people should be treated. Her infectious spirit, be

autiful smile and giving heart made a difference in so many lives. In order to continue Caitlyn’s legacy, a memorial fund was established to award Kiefer graduates, who have demonstrated some of the same amazing qualities and goals that she had, with a scholarship to help further their education.
