Tonight, six of our Kiefer Volunteer Firefighters, one Mounds Firefighter, two Kiefer Police Officers, and three Creek County Ambulance personnel were formally recognized and awarded CPR Save Pins along with official commendation letters for their outstanding efforts during a critical medical emergency involving an 11-year-old child who went into cardiac arrest.
In a moment where every second mattered, these first responders acted with precision, calmness, and exceptional skill. Their quick, coordinated actions directly contributed to saving a young boy’s life. Because of their dedication, his family gets to hold him close, and he gets to continue experiencing all the joys and milestones that life still has ahead of him.
We are truly blessed and incredibly proud of the service these men and women provide to our community. Their unwavering commitment, countless hours of training, and willingness to show up day or night reflect the true spirit of public service. Tonight’s recognition is not just an award; it is a testament to the impact these individuals make on the lives of the people they serve.
Heroes don’t always wear capes sometimes they wear turnout gear, uniforms, and EMS badges. And tonight, we honor them with gratitude and immense respect.
