Our friends from Redemption Chapel hosted its 3rd annual Memorial Day cookout with the residents of Tower 43!

The menu included burgers, extra well-done hotdogs (just the way the residents like them 😉), delicious sides, and plenty of desserts to go around. More than anything, it was a beautiful evening filled with laughter, conversation, and meaningful time together over a shared meal.

We’re so thankful for the opportunity to build relationships and make memories with this special community each year. ❤️

It was great to see so many community leaders gather to hear Matt Haines and Sabina Zarlenga from Precision Trauma Therapy Center share about strategic ways they are helping people who’ve experienced trauma. We can't wait to host their new support group, Trauma Anonymous, that will be held at our building this summer! Stay tuned for more details and upcoming programming 😉

Meet Christa, one of our Cultivate mentors for the 2025-26 school year! We asked her to share a little about her experience mentoring:

“I was mentoring a kindergarten boy this year. It was pretty wild, but fun. I felt like we grew a lot together and became very close towards the end of the program. I saw him begin to listen and understand our lessons and look up to me and respect me as a mentor. I grew a lot in patience, firmness, and prayer.”

We’re so thankful for volunteers like Christa and the impact they make through investing in students at Holden Elementary.

Our 2026 Spring Clean Up was a success! This year's volunteers were a rare breed - they managed to visit 13 homes and the Thomas-Anderson Memorial Garden, all before the afternoon thunderstorms hit! They did a wonderful job, lended a helping hand and wore a smile no matter where they were at or what they did. We can't wait to this again next year! We love being part of the South End neighborhood.
