Our first year of Nature Camp was absolutely amazing! Christa led six students through a variety of lessons like nature is orderly, nature works together and more. Every week was full of smiles, creative activities and lots of outside play and exploration. We can’t wait to do it again next summer!

Hey neighbors 👋 Have you heard? The last Saturday of every month is our free community dinner at 5:30 p.m., which means our August meal is happening today, 8/29! Come on over to 211 Cherry St. for a dinner with your neighbors and the chance to connect with old friends and meet new ones.

If you can’t come to our August dinner, we hope to see you at our next meal!

Last Saturday, our Back to School Bash was the most attended year yet! Kids played together, neighbors interacted, ate good food, and we celebrated the launch of a new school year. Thanks to all the volunteers that made it possible. It was a good example of what Rooted hopes to be all the time - an ongoing place of connection for our neighborhood.

Come hang out with the whole crew! Led by a fun group of young adults, The Thursday Thing is a monthly family hang-out where kids, teens, and parents, can all get in on the action.

Every month brings something different—outdoor games, cookouts, party games, friendly competitions, creative challenges, and more. Think laughs, teamwork, and memories the entire family can share. Invite your friends and neighbors, grab the kids (and the grown-ups!), and come ready to play, connect, and have a blast together. All ages welcome! (6 and under must be accompanied by an adult)
