Today some of the scouts went and helped the Copperas Cove Economic Development Corporation. The manned the gates to let vendors in and out of the area for Oktoberfest. I only got 1 picture, was busy running waters to the scouts to make sure they stayed hydrated since there wasn't a lot of shade and was 100 degrees out.
Thank you Mike at Epic Treasures for helping facilitate this service project for our scouts. The scouts have been hard at work doing service for our community and as of last months count is number 4 in the council for service hours.

Thank you Epic Treasures for letting us have our meeting at your store tonight. Our regular meeting location is having some ac problems and in this heat we don't need to be in a building that is too hot. It is wonderful when a local business will let the youth meet at their store when situations arise.

The scouts had a busy few days. Had the opportunity for each of them to do up to 20 hours of community service. Everything from helping Cub Scout Pack 251 with their STEM Camp, helping KCCB with cleaning up the city of trash and helping our chartering organization, VFW Post 3393, retire American flags. It was a busy few days and the scouts did well serving the community.
