Monday our club worked to keep Copperas Cove clean. We picked up trash at Copperas Cove City Park.

Remember when you are using the parks to take anything you bring in out. We picked up plastic bottles, cigarette butts, broken balloons, candy wrappers and more.

Our club had the pleasure of visiting Faith Hope and Love Ranch to learn about horses and to provide some time of community service.

Not only did we learn cool things… like horses being color blind and how they can twitch sections of their skin to get flies off. We also played some fun games.

After this our students and parents picked up rocks in the pasture to help so the horses don’t get rock sores on their feet.

This ranch provides an amazing service to those with trauma, PTSD and more. It’s just north of Gatesville in Coryell City and well worth the drive.
