Due to tropical storm warnings the Kemah Lions Club meeting for September 1st has been cancelled. Hope that no one receives any damage and that everyone will be safe and dry.

The Kemah Lions meet the first Tuesday of each month at the Kemah Fire Station located at 905 TX-146 in Kemah. Potluck dinner at 6pm with meeting at 6:30pm. You do not have to be a resident of Kemah to be a member as we have members from several different towns. For information on some of our volunteer efforts please go to:

The Kemah Lions Club is a part of Lions Clubs International, a network of volunteers who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.

The Kemah Lions were proud to have a hot dog dinner for the Kemah police, EMS and the firemen. All of the personnel do a great job in serving their community.

The Kemah Lions were invited to join the Kemah Police Department in welcoming several exchange students to Kemah.

Several members assisted the Kemah Police at the Cops and Kids event at Stewart LaVace Stewart Elementary.

At the May 5th meeting we were joined by Spencer who will be attending the 2026 Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville. Spencer attended the TLC in 2025 and shared his favorite things to do (fishing). Spencer won the camper of the week last year and hopes for a repeat for the 2026 session. Spencer was presented a shirt to wear at the camp by Lion Ricia. Thanks to Lion Sylvia for arranging the shirt. The TLC is an amazing place with no charge for the campers to attend. Past district Governor Lion Howard Clayton inducted Oneator into the Kemah Lions Club during the April 7th meeting. Oneator, Howard Clayton and Lion Bill Kerber who sponsored Oneator.
