Our mission is to work with communities & landowners

We are an accredited conservation land trust dedicated exclusively to 39 towns in the Monadnock region of southwestern New Hampshire. Our work is supported by donor contributions for the benefit of all who enjoy this beautiful corner of the world -- people, plants, and wildlife -- now and in the future.

Happy Friday! We are so excited for the Conservancy's 37th Annual Celebration and Grand Opening, happening tomorrow, Saturday, October 3rd from 11am to 2pm at our headquarters in Keene (82 Ashuelot Street). There are a few tickets remaining, click the link below for FREE registration!

We will have parking available in the field behind our headquarters, along with spots in front for anyone with mobility issues.

This event is an open house, so feel free to come by anytime for music from Mr Bill's Bluegrass Band, food, nature activities for the kids, some short presentations from our construction team (Chapman Construction/Design Bensonwood ReVision Energy S/P Architects) and many opportunities to learn about our conservation work from Conservancy staff.

This event will feature food, music, presentations from Bensonwood, Chapman Construction/Design, SP Architects, and ReVision Energy, and many opportunities to talk to our team about this new building and how it will further the Conservancy's work in the region!

Friends, tomorrow's weather is looking a little rough, so we are canceling our Cheshire Walkers hike to Eliza Adams Gorge on 9/1/26.

This hike has been rescheduled for October 20th. Please email Katherine Witte ([email protected]) with any questions. Sorry for the last minute cancelation, but we don't want our walkers to swim the trail :) Click the link below for updated Cheshire Walkers information.
