🎓 Celebrating the Ray Stoesser Memorial Scholarship Recipients

Since 2022, the Ray Stoesser Memorial Scholarship has supported outstanding students who are passionate about agriculture and the future of the U.S. rice industry.

Each recipient represents the next generation of agricultural leaders and has demonstrated a commitment to making a difference in agriculture.

Meet the scholars who have been part of Ray’s legacy:
🌾 2023 — Gayla Rose

Gayla Rose is a Texas A&M University agricultural economics graduate with experience across several areas of agriculture, including rice production, producer relations, government programs, research, and agribusiness. Her professional experience includes the US Rice Producers Association, USDA Farm Service Agency, Texas A&M AgriLife Research, and American Rice Growers Co-op. She currently works as a Merchandising Trainee with GSI International, continuing to build her career in agriculture and agribusiness.

🌾 THIS SATURDAY - TRF Rice Cooking Contest!

Are you bringing a dish on Saturday? The committee is working hard to prepare for this historical contest. Please be sure to fill out the pre-registration form or contact Macoy Smith (phone and email in post image). Dishes will be accepted between 9-9:30am on Saturday morning with results around Noon in the Community Building/Winnie-Stowell Park. **PLEASE NOTE: This is a separate contest from the BBQ Cookoff Jackpot Rice and free to enter.**

We can not wait to see these tables filled with great food! Share and tag this with all of your foodie friends!!
