From BluePath who’s walkathon is this weekend! -

Joining us on Saturday for our 10th annual BluePath Walkathon? It’s going to be a fun-filled day with something for every member of the family!
The day will begin at 10:00am with sensory-friendly registration! General registration will start at 10:30am.
The walk will officially kick off at 11:00am with both a One and Three mile option available!
Not into walking? No worries! From 11:00am to 1:30pm we will have all different types of activities including DJ John Hannah’s Mobile Music Services, On The Spot Photos, Bouncy Houses from G.S. Bounce, Bubble Bus, lawn games with Backyard Sports, permanent jewelry with Auburn Jewelry, and more!
The “BluePath Breakroom” will be available throughout the event; this is a quiet tent with comfortable seating, books, and fidget toys, designed to provide a break from the hubbub of the event.
Enjoy lunch from awesome food trucks including The Grille Wagon, Taco Road Trip, Wrappers Delight, and ice cream from Mister Softee.

The Autism Acceptance Walk on Sunday was amazing! Rain was on the forecast for days but the sun came out instead! ☀️🕶️ A huge thank you to all who organized this event and for having us, and thank you to all who came out. We met so many families and learned about so many other organizations and providers and it was all just magical. And we are looking forward to the sensory playground making its way to Brewster, it looks fab! 👏🏻🥰❤️

It was so wonderful to be a part of Parenting Night by at where we were able to connect with other organization and community leaders as well as parents! ❤️

Hope to see you at Fox Lane High School tomorrow night for this offering from that is open to all! You can choose 2 of the 4 seasons that feel applicable to you, and below are details on them! (*There will also be free childcare, and kids will be making fun fidgets with FLHS’s Best Buddies club while parents are in the sessions*)

Michele Wolfson Broder, a fellow connectED parent and nutritionist, will be presenting Food Without the Fight.

Deanna Russell, BCSD’s Behavior Analyst, will be sharing practical strategies for navigating behavior and big feelings.

Margaret Browning of BCSD will be presenting on building strong reading habits.

Melissa Ponzio, a PE teacher at Fox Lane High School, and Erica Maiorano, a physical therapist at Fox Lane High School, both also of Able Athletics, will be sharing summer activity ideas that support strength, coordination, and regulation.
