Happy International Day of Play to every child, parent, and educator! 🎉🧩

At REAP’s Ineza Academy, we believe learning sticks when it’s fun. In addition to free play sessions, our classroom activities include play and active participation, helping children learn better, explore deeper, build skills, confidence, and grow together.

This April, REAP provided psychosocial training to 17 staff members, equipping them with practical skills to strengthen their own social-emotional well-being and better support the children and youth they serve.
Coming just after the memorial week honoring victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, the training also created space for reflection, healing, and a renewed commitment to caring for both self and community.

Last week was a special moment at REAP’s Ineza Academy.
Parents, teachers, and staff came together not just to discuss progress, but to celebrate the journey of every child. Parents spoke with gratitude about the transformation they see in their children, while teachers appreciated the trust and partnership they share with families.
One message stood out clearly—parents dream of seeing their children continue this journey at Ineza, with a primary school that keeps quality education close to home.
Moments like these remind us: it truly takes a community to raise and educate a child. ❤️

This Wednesday, REAP’s Ineza Vocational Center in Musha welcomed an auditor from Rotary International as part of a review of projects implemented last year. We are honored that REAP’s vocational training initiative was recognized among the most impactful projects and selected for evaluation.
The visit provided an opportunity to showcase how our community-driven model equips vulnerable youth with technical skills, psychosocial support, and practical pathways to employment and entrepreneurship.
At REAP, we believe sustainable change begins when rural youth gain the tools, confidence, and opportunities needed to build dignified livelihoods and contribute to their communities.
We remain committed to expanding programs that transform potential into lasting impact.
