We've been quiet on here lately because we've been working hard behind the scenes, but the wait is finally over. We have been getting ready to hire, and Pivot Point is officially ready for our very first youth therapist to apply! 🚀

✨It has been an incredible journey getting everything aligned, and we are so excited to start building our clinical team to serve youth ages 7-17.

🎉 WE DID IT! 🎉

Our shoe drive fundraiser with Funds2Orgs is officially a wrap, and we just received our Certificate of Impact in the mail! 📨✨It was exhausting, a ton of hard work, and required a lot of heavy lifting, but every single second was worth it.

Look at what the Pivot Point Youth Collaborative community achieved together:

👟 789 pounds of shoes collected and saved from landfills!
🌱 19.7K pounds of CO2 displaced from our environment!
💧 329K gallons of water saved!

A massive thank you to everyone who cleaned out their closets, dropped off pairs, and supported our mission. Your used shoes are now heading off to help micro-entrepreneurs in developing nations while creating a massive environmental win right here. 🌎💚

🚀 BIG NEWS from Pivot Point! 🚀

When we started Pivot Point, we had one big goal: to show up for youth in our community and give them the real support, mentoring, and skills they need to thrive. We've been working hard and have some awesome news to share!

We have officially locked in our new professional services framework! Moving forward, we are ready to bring trauma-informed case management, peer mentoring, and crisis support straight to kids and teens (ages 7-17) who need it most. We just cleared major state approvals, set up our official agency infrastructure, and are now working to secure local contracts to start accepting youth referrals in Kalamazoo, Calhoun, St. Joseph, and Van Buren counties! 🎉

By setting things up this way, our team will be able to handle both professional care and throw some wonderful community events. Pivot Point is built to last, and we are ready to make a massive impact!

We are building this piece by piece, and we can’t wait to announce when our doors officially open for referrals! Let’s go! 💙

✨ Youth Services Update ✨

We’re officially entering the final stretch, and things are moving fast.📄

Pivot Point is actively working with Medicaid and private insurance companies to become an approved provider for youth case management and peer support. Once approved, we’ll be able to support youth directly in their homes, schools, and communities, meeting them where they actually are. 🌱

Our pilot is planned for Fall/Winter 2026 and will start with 15 youth. We’re keeping the pilot small on purpose so we can test the model, work out the kinks, and make sure it’s solid before expanding into additional counties. 📍➡️📍

To meet the need, we’ll be building out our first small but mighty team. That includes hiring a Case Manager and a Peer Support Specialist who will work directly with youth in our pilot. These new hires will join our Founder, Ashley Marie, and our Operations Manager, Jolene Elder, as we take the first step toward delivering trauma‑informed support.💛🔥

We’re one step closer to launching Pivot Point’s direct youth services, and we truly couldn’t have done any of this without your support. 🚀 THANK YOU!!!!❤️

⭐ Summer Camp Scholarships Are Open!

Pivot Point Youth Collaborative is offering a limited number of full summer camp scholarships for Summer 2026! These scholarships cover one full week at one of the camps below and are completely free to families. ✨

Families can choose one of the following camps:
🌳 Camp Kidwell - Day or Overnight
☀️ Sherman Lake YMCA - Day Camp
🌊 Camp Eberhart - Day Camp or Day Camp & One Overnight
🏕️ Bair Lake Bible Camp - Day or Overnight

Kids must be at least 7 years old to be considered.

Scholarships are open to families in St. Joseph, Kalamazoo, Van Buren, & Calhoun Counties.

📝 Applications close Wednesday, July 8 so we have enough time to coordinate with camps.

HOLY SMOKES!!!! What a day. 🔥⛳️
Pivot Point’s first‑ever charity golf outing was an unbelievable success, and we are still blown away by the turnout, the energy, and the heart this community brought to the course. Because of YOU, our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters, we officially surpassed our fundraising goal for this event. 💛🙌

What happened today is proof of something we’ve believed from the beginning: community is the answer. When people come together with purpose, generosity, and belief in something bigger than themselves, lives change. By surrounding our youth with consistent support, connection, and community, we can build a future where they feel seen, valued, and never alone in the gaps systems leave behind.

Your support moves us closer to building a model that brings wraparound care, connection, and community under one roof, and that work starts with days like today.
