Meet Bailey! Bailey is a 4-year-old sweetheart with a gentle soul and an adorable face that’s impossible not to love—especially his cute underbite and precious little snaggle tooth that give him so much character. Bailey can be a bit shy when meeting new people and may need a little time to feel comfortable in new situations. Once he learns that he’s safe, his sweet and affectionate personality begins to shine. He walks nicely on a leash and is accustomed to going outside for potty breaks. Bailey will also use a puppy pad, making him adaptable to a variety of home environments. Bailey loves toys and enjoys playful moments with his people. After playtime, he’s happiest curled up beside you, soaking up pets and companionship. He also loves belly rubs and truly enjoys being close to those he trusts. Bailey is looking for a patient and loving family who will give him the time he needs to settle in and let his confidence grow. Meet Coco. Coco is a 4-year-old boy with a gentle heart and an easy going personality. He may be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but he warms up quickly and soon shows his affectionate side. Coco walks well on a leash and enjoys spending time with his people. He is accustomed to going outside for potty breaks and will also use a puppy pad, making him adaptable to different home environments. Meet Star. He is approximately 1-2 years old and around 5-6lbs. He is very scared at first, then he does warm up. Adopter will need work with him and give him time to adjust to a new living situation. He is very sweet and like to sit close to you. He is heartworm positive. He is on the slow kill method of treatment, which includes a 6 month pro heart shot and 30 days of antibiotics. He kennels well and likes you to drop his treat down then he will take it. Meet Twinkle. He is a Chihuahua, approximately 1 year old and weighs 7 lbs. Twinkle came to us from a hoarding situation and was living in terrible conditions. He had free access inside the home, but never went outside. He is learning a whole new world of clean living conditions, grass, a yard to run in and other dogs that aren't from his old pack. In his foster home he has turned into a loving, active boy. He wants attention, but still shys away from hands sometimes. He likes to be with his person, gives sweet kisses and snuggles. In an adopters home he will have to gain trust and overcome fear. It will take time. He was adopted and returned this week due to being too timid. He can be reactive to other dogs out of fear. He was adopted and returned once for not getting along with the adopters other dog. He would do best as an only dog. He is kennel trained. He likes having a safe place to retreat to during the day. He will go outside to potty and he is working on training to not mark inside. He is very timid and scared at adoption events, but he is active at home. Meet Ben. He came to us from a hoarding situation and was very frightened. After several days, he warmed up and decided the new human was okay. Ben is 3 to 5 years old and has become a very loving lap dog. He dances with delight when his person comes home and can beat her to the recliner to watch TV. He was flea infested when rescued and had hair loss. the hair has grown back and he is a handsome boy. He will kennel, but prefers not to. He uses puppy pads and goes outside. He loves outside if you go with him, but prefers his human company to that of other dogs. Slow movements are required for this boy, or he gets scared. This is Jerry. He is a Chihuahua and around 3-5 yrs old. When Jerry was first rescued, he was very frightened. He lived in a hoarder situation where the people did not have the means to properly care for the dogs. It is likely that his rescuers were his first experience with other humans. He was covered in flea bites and his skin looked horrible. With the fleas gone, his hair has started to return, but not on his neck and stomach. We are thinking that he may be a mix of a Xoloitzcuintli and Chihuahua. His hairless skin is very soft. In cold weather he will need a sweater and he needs to be protected from possible sun burn. Jerry has learned that when he is over his fears, that humans are actually good. A soft lap is great place to take a nap and at night time he feels safe laying close to his person. He dances in delight when his person returns home and he follows them around the house. Treats are the best and if lucky, he does not have to go to a kennel. Jerry is a small package with a big heart. He could end all the lonely hearts club around. Meet him this Saturday at our adoption event at Jake's Feed in Longview from 10am to 2pm.

She is kennel trained and has good house training manners. She walks on a leash and behaves well. She is a bit timid around loud noises and other dogs.
