📣 IMPORTANT — CLUB VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR OUR SEPTEMBER EVENTS!
We are coming down to the last club-sponsored events of the year, and I need everyone to pay attention and get signed up.
These events are VERY important financially to our club. The money we raise through these events helps keep the cost of being a member of Next Generation 4-H as low as possible for all of our families. Without volunteers, these events simply cannot happen.
Volunteering is also a mandatory requirement for our club families. Each family is expected to complete four volunteer opportunities during the year. These September events are our last club-sponsored opportunities, so if you have not completed your four hours/opportunities yet, YOU NEED TO SIGN UP!
And please don't look at these events and think, “I don't have time for that.” None of these are long events. What makes them work is having enough people show up and spread the work around. When we have enough volunteers, the jobs are easier and the time goes quickly.
🍂 FALL NATIONALS
Saturday night: We need at least 25 older youth and adults.
Sunday morning: We need approximately 20–25 volunteers of ANY age.
🍕 SLICE TRAIN SHOW
We need:
20 older youth and adults to handle the tables
At least 10 younger youth to help with chairs
These numbers are not suggestions — these are the bodies we need to successfully run these events.
I will be checking the SignUp Genius on Wednesday to see how the volunteer lists are filling up. Please don't wait for someone else to sign up. If everyone waits, we won't have enough people.
If you have already completed your four volunteer opportunities, we would still LOVE to have you help. These events benefit every family in our club.
Please take a few minutes today to look at the SignUp Genius and get your name on a spot. Let's finish our club year strong and make these last events successful for everyone.

Green County 4-H is excited to once again participate in the Cheese Days Children’s Parade. All youth are welcome to participate and MUST be supervised by a parent, guardians, or an enrolled 4-H leader from their club. Please try to wear a green shirt OR a 4-H shirt.

New 4-H
Enrollment Year
New enrollments and re-enrollments for the 2026-2027 4-H year will open on September 2, 2026. Youth may join 4-H at any time, however, our primary re-enrollment period is September 2nd – November 1st. New families have until December 1st (this is a new deadline no longer Jan 15)

❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU to our amazing Fall Pickers volunteers!

I want to take a moment to give a very special THANK YOU to everyone who stepped up and helped at the Fall Pickers. Your willingness to give your time, jump in wherever you were needed, and work together made such a difference!
A heartfelt thank you to the Kruse, Andrews, and Moore families, Zak Phillips, Wendy Hawkinson, Anne Bauman, River Hillary, and Dylan Fiez.
You were ALL amazing! It takes special people to give up their time to help, and you certainly made a long day of work fun, enjoyable, and successful. I truly appreciate every one of you more than you know. ❤️
Thank you for showing up, pitching in, and being willing to help when we needed you. It wouldn't have been the same without you!
I am so sorry we did not get pictures this time.
So grateful for each and every one of you! 🍀❤️

I need record books from the following families:

The club record book has be emailed to you once and I will ask Bella to do it again to those families listed above. Fastest way to get them to me is by email. I need them by 10am on Monday August 31st because I have to fill out a form turn it in and if we are picked I have to turn the books in as well. Please get them done, I hate checking off a club member's name which means no showing in 2027.
