This Memorial Day, the National Bird Dog Circuit honors and remembers the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Because of their sacrifice, we have the freedom to gather with friends and family, travel the country, compete alongside great dogs, and enjoy the sport we all love.

Today, we pause to remember those heroes and the families who carry their legacy forward every day. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

From all of us at the BDC, thank you to all who have served and especially to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. ❤️🤍💙

We’re excited to share a big milestone for the National Bird Dog Circuit!

As the new owner of the National Bird Dog Circuit, one of the goals has been to continue growing the sport, building relationships, and creating more opportunities for our members and events. Today, we’re excited to announce our first official sponsor partnership with Dogs Unlimited!

🏆 BDC NATIONALS 2027 QUALIFICATION INFO 🏆

The road to the 2027 BDC Nationals starts NOW! 🇺🇸🐾

We want to remind everyone of the qualification requirements for Nationals and Added Money eligibility:

🔥 A dog must compete in at least ONE sanctioned BDC event to attend and compete at Nationals.

💰 To qualify for Added Money payouts at Nationals, a dog must compete in at least THREE sanctioned BDC events during the qualifying season.

📅 Qualification period runs from 1/1/26 through 12/31/26.

Our goal is to continue encouraging participation across the circuit while also rewarding competitors who support events throughout the season.

No matter if you’re chasing Added Money, titles, experience, or just making memories with great dogs and great people — we encourage everyone to get out, support events, and be part of the journey to BDC Nationals 2027!

We’ll also be discussing the possibility of splitting competition into regions. The goal behind these conversations is to create a more balanced and fair experience for competitors across the country — especially for members who may not have the same access to the number of events available in other areas.

This organization continues to grow because of passionate members who care deeply about the future of the sport, the dogs, and the competition. Your voice matters.

There were a lot of moments worth celebrating this week, and these are a few more of them! Awards were handed out across the Pointing and Flushing divisions, including Hunter, Ladies, Masters, Puppy, Doubles, and Top Gun. 🏆

We also recognized the 2025 Contender Series jacket winners in Flushing High Champion Point, Flushing High Qual Point, Pointing High Champion Point, and Pointing High Qual Point.

And if that was not enough, the total payout this week from Calcutta, 30% payback, and added money came out to $115,201! Safe to say, this week brought a whole lot to celebrate! 🙌
