Join @ Noon Tuesdays @ St. Bernards Auditorium, 505 E. Washington Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401 Individual members, or Rotarians, belong to a club.

We are neighbors, community leaders, and global citizens uniting for the common good. Chartered in 1919 as the 520th Rotary club in the world, today we have over 140 professional women and men focused on making the lives of children and adults better through increasing literacy, improving health and working through The Rotary Foundation. Individual Rotary clubs belong to Rotary International. The club is where most of Rotarians' meaningful service work is carried out. Clubs can be engaged not only in their communities, but also internationally. Rotary International is also present in most social networking sites. What Rotarians get out of Rotary depends largely on what they put into it.

Join us Tuesday, October 27, at NOON at St. Bernard’s Auditorium for our weekly Rotary meeting!

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Binol Balachandar, Assistant Professor of Nursing at Arkansas State University, who will present “Polio Update 2026.”

In recognition of World Polio Day on October 24, Dr. Balachandar will share an update on global polio eradication efforts, the importance of vaccination, and the ongoing work to protect children and communities around the world.

Although tremendous progress has been made toward eradicating polio, wild poliovirus cases still exist in two countries in 2026. As long as polio exists anywhere, continued vaccination, surveillance, and global cooperation remain essential.

Rotary International has long been committed to ending polio worldwide, and we look forward to learning more about the progress being made and the work still ahead!

We hope to see you there! 💙💛
