What a powerful experience at the EMERGE Conference hosted by the Financial Health Network. The wealth of knowledge, innovation, and community-centered leadership in the room was inspiring.

It was an honor to serve as a panelist alongside Hope Wollensack at GroFund, with thoughtful moderation by Dr. Tiffany Bussey of the Morehouse Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center. Grateful for the opportunity to share space with leaders committed to advancing financial health, equity, and impact in our communities. Looking forward to continuing the conversations and collaborations sparked at EMERGE.

Another rewind on celebrating the accomplishments, relationships, and impact built along the way at our end-of-year luncheon alongside the CEO's, owners, and directors of ECE sites. Being able to reflect together on the lives touched and the community built over the years made the moment even more meaningful. We also want to congratulate Shewan of Morrow Early Learning Center on opening her new location! Celebrating growth and new beginnings within our community made the day even more special.
Our mission remains the same: to continue serving, advocating, informing, and showing up in meaningful ways.

This week marked the end of our 3rd series of cooking classes at Clayton County Community Services Authority. πŸ…πŸ₯¬βœ¨ Eligible participants received a Vitamix blender for meeting participation requirements and to support their health journey and the impact went far beyond the kitchen. Over the 6-session series, participants casually reported increased vegetable intake, trying new ways of preparing foods, gaining new knowledge, and most importantly, cultivating new relationships and community connections.
Collaborations like these help make healthy living more accessible and community-centered, and we are grateful to play a small part in the ecosystem of wellness.

Our Policy + People: Don’t Get Got; Older American Senior Edition was a success, led by our Senior Policy Advisor Hon. Valencia Stovall., with invited guest Shawn Conroy from the GA Department of Law's Computer Protection Division.
We were honored to create space for seniors to ask questions and gain tools to protect themselves and stay informed. From important conversations around scams and advocacy to increasing connection, the afternoon was filled with wisdom.

Community Love Day was a beautiful reminder of what’s possible when leaders, organizations, and collaborators come together for a common cause.

Always grateful to be in spaces with people committed to pushing toward the same goal; showing up for our families, supporting our communities, and doing the work together. It was also great running into Forest Park Mayor Gwen Ellison and connecting with so many dedicated to care, wellness, and impact. We loved sharing our work around health, access, advocacy, and community champions.
