Melanie Lyles is our Director of Trash and I know y’all have all seen her cleaning up and leading her amazing team every Pig Roast weekend - always working hard, taking care of all of us and doing even more in the background for years all with that smile of her face! In February 2026, Melanie was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. While “benign” can sound reassuring, the reality has been anything
but easy. Since her diagnosis, Melanie has spent multiple extended stays in the hospital undergoing treatment and monitoring. When she
is able to return home, she remains largely bedridden as she continues to recover and manage her condition. This has become her day-to-day reality for the foreseeable future, making it incredible difficult for her to maintain normal routines or work. Melanie is facing a long road ahead, filled with ongoing medical care, and significant physical challenges. During this time, we are coming together as a community to support her and help ease the financial and emotional burdens she and her family are experiencing. Your support, prayers, and generosity mean more than words can express as Melanie focuses on healing and taking each day one step at a time
