We were thrilled to welcome the Business Networking International (BNI) WIN Chapter of Charleston to volunteer with us last week!

Their hard work and willingness to give back helped support a deserving community member in need of a critical repair. Group and individual volunteers are the lifeblood of Sea Island Habitat, and their dedication makes it possible for us to continue building homes, hope, and stronger communities throughout the Lowcountry.

Interested in getting your own group involved? Whether you're part of a school, business, church, club, or community organization, we would love to have you join us on the build site. Gather your team, roll up your sleeves, and help us make a lasting difference!

The ReStore will be closed today as our incredible staff takes the day to celebrate a record-breaking year in sales! We could not be prouder of our ReStore team. From traveling all over the Sea Islands to pick up generous furniture donations to creating a welcoming hub for the Habitat community, our staff and amazing volunteers are at the heart of what makes the ReStore so special. Their dedication and energy help drive our mission forward every single day. Every sale at the ReStore helps fund homes, hope, and brighter futures for Sea Island residents in need.

Thank you to our incredible ReStore team and volunteers for another outstanding year. We are so grateful for everything you do!

Today we celebrated an incredible milestone as our longest serving volunteer, Dirk, marked 20 consecutive years with our construction team. To thank him for his unwavering dedication, we surprised him with a brand new table saw signed by our entire staff. Dirk, thank you for 20 years of hard work, generosity, and oh so many random and interesting conversations! We can’t believe it’s been TWENTY years, but you know what they say? “Time flies when you’re having fun!” And we’ve had a lot of fun building homes and hope with ya, Dirk!
