Congratulations to all of the St. John’s High School Upcoming June 8, 2024 Graduates. My 1st Spotlight Senior:
👩🏽‍🎓K’Layah M. Maxwell👩🏽‍🎓
30 College Acceptances: Howard University, Clemson, USC Columbia & Aiken, Claflin, Spelman, College of Charleston, Winthrop, The Citadel, SC State, and Charleston Southern just to name a few. Maxwell is an with grade Braid/Loctician, Math/Reading Tutor, Tenor Saxophonist, Percussionist, Basketball and Volleyball Varsity Player, JROTC Completer (Captain), 1st in the Region/9th in the state Shot Put, Discus Thrower, Student Athletic Assistant, Certifed Nursing Assistant & Patient Care Assistant, Top 10 in her Class, Honor Roll since 1st grade. Maxwell sings, teaches Praise/Litugical Dance, works at a local Big Box Store, works at local hospital on the telemetry unit, mentors her younger sister, prepares meals, and does house chores all in helping to support her dedicated and loving mother who is her driving force. K’Layah is a spiritual person who carries a “big stick” but is soft spoken and gentle. Hats of to the STJ Familis and our ‘Spotlight Senior’ K’Layah M. Maxwell!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
