Pack 34 capped off another great season like we always do. Our family camping trip to Lackawanna State Park. The scouts fished, hiked, played, and ate! We capped the evening off with a great campfire program and final awards for the campers who attended. Thank you to everyone who made it a fantastic weekend. As one scout said, it was "the best camping trip ever!"

This week, the cubs had the opportunity to meet with Katie Kearney and Mark Entwistle from the Alzheimer's Association to learn about how everyone's brains work differently and how to keep our brains healthy. Thank you Mark and Katie!!

The Pack 34 monthly hiking club used the beautiful weather to get hyped for summer camp at Camp Acahela! These scouts can't wait for summer!

On top of all of the cool adventures and outings, scouting is also about service to others and the community. When our charter organization Queen of Angels Parish reached out for help, our scouts jumped into action and made quick work polishing the pews of the church. Great work scouts!

The weekend wind took a break and allowed our hiking club to get a guided tour of Goose Pond Scout Reservation led by one of our Den Chiefs. We have some scouts excited and looking forward to summer camp once they become Boy Scouts!!

Winter doesn't slow down the scouts of Pack 34! From exploring snowy, icy environments, learning tongue twisters and playing charades, cutting and preparing food, meeting with elected officials (Thank you Rep Kyle Mullins!), ice fishing, and seeing our Arrow of Light Scouts cross the bridge to Troop 34, the experiences, adventure, and fun never stops!

Nothing says scouting fun more than friends ice fishing in 30° temps while enjoying hot chocolate and walking tacos. What a great group of boys. Thank you to Camp Freedom and their staff for allowing the Webelos and AOL’s to continue their annual ice fishing experience. Fun times today.
