🌊 **Making Waves & Creating Memories with PAIRnc!** 🛶💙

What a fantastic day on the water! Our September 19th adaptive paddling experience was filled with progress, laughter, new adventures, and plenty of smiles! ☀️

✨ **Celebrating some special moments:**
🛶 Two returning paddlers made BIG progress, working on their strokes and building confidence in their paddling techniques!

🌉 Kiss made it all the way to the bridge with Susan, Adriene, and Toni! What an accomplishment! 🙌

💙 Jasmine enjoyed learning more helpful paddling tips from Kitty and continuing to build her skills.

🌊 Tori joined us for her very first paddling experience! She overcame her reservations about being on a large body of water, learned how to use the inclusive dock, and did an amazing job with the paddle pivot. Her words, *“Feeling free”* and *“This is so much fun!”* perfectly captured the joy of the day! 🥰

🤗 And, of course, there were BIG hugs after the paddle! These experiences are about more than just kayaking. They're about building friendships, creating connections, encouraging one another, and sharing moments that last long after we leave the water. 💙

At PAIRnc, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the freedom and joy of paddling. **Yes! You CAN paddle!** 🌊

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Come be part of the adventure and discover what’s possible!

🛶 **Oak Hollow Lake, we had so much fun!** 🌊

A huge thank you to High Point Parks and Recreation’s **ASPIRE program** for inviting PAIRnc to bring our adaptive paddling program to Oak Hollow Lake! We had a fantastic time paddling with five awesome participants—and even had a dad join us on the water! 💙

Three of our paddlers took on a new challenge this time around: **their very own single kayak!** After previously paddling in tandem kayaks, having a dedicated safety boater paddling alongside them gave them the confidence to give it a try. And they absolutely crushed it! 🙌 Watching them discover that they could do something new—and seeing the confidence that came with it—was pretty special.

We explored the lake near the campground, paddled under the Johnson Street Bridge, searched for wildlife, and even **“rafted up”** for a little break, snack and hydration. 🦆🌳☀️

Days like this are what adaptive recreation is all about: trying something new, building confidence, enjoying the outdoors and, most importantly, **having fun together on the water!**

Thanks again to ASPIRE for getting us out to Oak Hollow Lake. We hope to see all of our paddlers back on the water soon! 🛶💦

Yesterday was another wonderful day on the water with PAIRnc! 🛶💙 We love seeing our paddlers build confidence, reach personal goals, and discover the freedom and joy that comes with adaptive paddling.

🌉 **A goal accomplished!** Carly paddled all the way to the bridge—a goal she’s been working toward for a long time! Since she especially loves seeing the underside of bridges, this made the accomplishment even more special. What a fantastic achievement, Carly!

💪 **Building skills and independence!** Kiss continued improving her paddling skills on the water and also learned more about loading kayaks. She’s hoping to have a kayak of her own someday so she can get out on the water more often!

🦆 **Welcome to our newest paddlers!** Our two new paddlers did an amazing job on their first outing. They enjoyed the added security of tandem kayaks and were excited by the wildlife they encountered and the incredible sense of freedom that comes from being out on the water. Both are already looking forward to paddling again!

And, as always, a huge **THANK YOU to our fantastic volunteers!** ❤️ They are incredibly supportive both on and off the water. This program continues to grow because of their passion, encouragement, and excitement for sharing the joy of paddling with others.

We’re already looking forward to our next adventure! 🌊🛶
