Thank you to everyone who supported us on Saturday, May 30, for our 3rd Annual Golf for Gold! We had a few sprinkles throughout the day, but overall it was a beautiful day to golf. We had the youngest supporter ever show up, some new golfers, and a new game.
Congratulations to our game winners and to the overall winning team!
Another huge thank you to all of our sponsors, but especially Knights of Columbus, Bluestem, Alpha Opportunities, Les Schwab, Prairie Cottages and Fabian Pest Control.
We don't have the final total yet of how much was raised, so stay tuned for that update!

Happy Memorial Day. Today is all about remembering fallen heroes. My hero never served in the military as he was never old enough to serve.
However, he fought one of the worst battles I have ever seen in my life. He fought a war within his body.
Remembering him today and every day.

Today, more than other other day, is a day I dread. Four years ago today, we were given the official diagnosis of DIPG for Keaton. Four years ago today, were were told he has 6-12 months to live.
We didn't even have that. He had 44 days.
May is Brain Cancer Awareness month. I'm never not aware of brain cancer as the empty seat at my table won't let me forget.
