The Dakota Anglers Steak Fry will be held this Saturday, August 15th, 2026. Registration will be held from 7 to 8 am at Four Winds Sharpening, fishing begins at 8 am with weigh in at 3 pm at Parkhurst Campground. The tournament will be followed by potluck meal with the steak provided by the club. Everyone is welcome to attend and please bring a dish to pass! A huge thanks to all that participated in our 46th annual 46th Annual Dakota Anglers Little Britches Tournament held on June 20th.
We had 65 teams signed up this year, catching almost 100 walleyes and northerns and bringing in 315 lbs of fish!!
Before I announce the winners I need to do a huge shout out to our sponsors, Cavendish, All Vets Club Jamestown and Russ Davis Wholesale. We also had numerous volunteers to help make this event such a huge success! So thank you all, we couldn't do this without you.

Ages 0-6
1st place Everly and Tyler Attleson with 282.32 points. Runner up was Callan and Alex McInnes with 264.72 points.

Ages 7-10
1st place Corbyn and Dustin Kleingartner with 241.33 points. Runner up was Axel and Ben Nordquist with 170.87 points.

Ages 11-13
1st place Chasen and Ryan Widmer with 206.48 points. Runner up Landen Benson and Wayne Guthmiller with 5.92 points.

Ages 14-16
1st place Noah and Jeff Ku**er with 56.05 points. Runner up Carter and Jason Anderson with 50.10 points.

Casting contest winners were Rhett Rosenau (0-6) Aria Ku**er (7-10) Bryson Guthmiller (11-13) and Noah Ku**er (14-16)

Lucky kids going to Devils Lake fish camp are Aria Ku**er, Bryson Guthmiller, Chasen Widmer, Kaelyn Grounds and Landen and RaeLynn Benson.

Today's the day!

Registration is underway for the 46th Annual Dakota Anglers Little Britches Tournament. Registration is from 8 am to 10 am at the county park just west of the Farmers Union camp on the Jamestown Reservoir. Fishing starts at 10 am with weigh in at 2 pm (same place as registration). We hope to see you there!

It's been awhile since we've posted winners on here. Things have been busy between personal life for our board and the tournament. For those asking, winners get drawn every Monday regardless of if they are posted here and the board can be viewed at Gun & Reel Sports as stated below.

In this update we closed out May and are halfway through June for this years Calendar Raffle! Congratulations to Janelle Tucker (x2), Josh Stenvold, and Tom Schultz for being the $100 Friday winners! Congratulations to April Wolsky for winning our last Rod & Reel Combo for this years Calendar Raffle!

A friendly reminder that if you are drawn for a cash prize your winnings will be mailed directly to you. If you're the lucky one to be drawn for the Rod and Reel you will have to stop into Gun & Reel Sports - Jamestown to redeem it. Drawings will be held every Monday during the raffle and we will do our best to keep the page and website updated. The board will be located at Gun & Reel Sports - Jamestown if you would like to view it in person.

We are less than a week away from our biggest event of the year!

The 46th Annual Dakota Anglers Little Britches Tournament will be held this Saturday, June 20th. Registration will be from 8am to 10 am at the county park just West of the Farmers Union Camp on the Jamestown Reservoir. Day two for the 49th Annual Dakota Anglers Walleye Tournament will take off at 7 am and teams are due in at 2 pm. Weigh-ins will take place at the high water ramp. If you're interested in watching the teams bring their catch to scales we expect teams to start weighing around 130. Immediately following the weigh-in there will be a reception and awards ceremony at the campground. There will be free pop, water, beer and food provided by our generous sponsors.

Weigh-ins will take place at the high water ramp with the after festivities in the campground. There will be free beer and food provided by our sponsors. We hope to see you there!

Rules meeting for 49th Annual Dakota Anglers Walleye Tournament is tonight, June 5th, at the Gladstone Inn and Suites. Registration opens at 530 with the rules meeting starting at 6 pm. There is still room to register!
