🇺🇸 The Long Island Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution was honored to participate in the unveiling of a 250th Anniversary Patriot marker and wreath-laying ceremony at Christ Church Manhasset, recognizing five Revolutionary War Patriots laid to rest there.
We were pleased to welcome Rep. Tom Suozzi, who presented our chapter with a United States flag that had been flown over the U.S. Capitol, adding special significance to this memorable event.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the members of our Patriot Graves Committee for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to preserving the legacy of our nation's founding Patriots. Their efforts helped make this ceremony a tremendous success.
As we approach Juneteenth, Father's Day, and the first day of summer, we are reminded of the enduring struggle for liberty and the sacrifices made by those who came before us. May we continue to honor their legacy and preserve their stories for future generations.
