The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office Hockey Team proudly joined with our sponsor, Miller & Caggiano, LLP, to present a donation to Nashville Fire Hockey Team Captain Josh Lackey, to benefit the family of Vanderbilt LifeFlight Medic Allan Williams, who tragically lost his life in a helicopter crash on November 8, 2025.

We were honored to hit the ice in his memory during last month’s charity game in Nashville. We will continue to stand with our fellow first responders in honoring and remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving their communities.

The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office faced off against the Nashville Fire Department in an action-packed charity game last Friday in Nashville — and while the Sheriff’s Office skated away with the win, the real victory was our first responder community coming together for a cause that matters.

Proceeds from the game benefited the family of Vanderbilt LifeFlight Medic Allan Williams, who tragically lost his life in a helicopter crash on November 8, 2025.

We were honored to play in his memory and to stand alongside our brothers and sisters in Nashville for a bigger cause.

Sheriff Toulon and members of the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office Hockey Team were guests of New York Islanders forward Kyle Palmieri at Saturday’s Isles win over the Calgary Flames. After the game, Sheriff Toulon presented Kyle with a SCSO Hockey jersey to honor him for his tireless efforts in supporting veterans and first responders on Long Island through his nonprofit, the Kyle Palmieri Foundation, and their Squad 21 program.

Sheriff Toulon and members of the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office Hockey Team and Community Relations Unit proudly joined with the Suffolk County Police Department’s 2nd Precinct and the Town of Huntington at their Skate with a Cop event at the Clark Gillies Arena in Dix Hills.

The family-friendly event featured a fun night on the ice and a special visit from Santa Clause himself, as we continue to foster meaningful relationships between law enforcement and the residents we proudly serve.
