Riddick's Ride Riddick's Ride is a non-profit organization that assists those with rare and/or complex medical needs

Riddick’s Ride was originally created for a boy named Riddick who had a rare chromosome 5q deletion. On March 29th, 2015, Riddick passed away on his 3rd birthday from a respiratory illness and ARDS. There were only 50 similar known cases around the world for the type of deletion that Riddick had. Out of those 50 cases, there were no known documented cases that were exactly the same deletion as Riddick. Riddick's parents made a promise to him the day he passed; a promise to continue Riddick’s Ride in his honor helping others to better the quality of their lives. ❤️ Our 2026 Adopt-A-Family Winners Have Been Chosen! 🎄

We are SO excited to introduce the 10 families selected for our 2026 Adopt-A-Family program! All 10 families have officially been contacted, and we’re thrilled to share their names with you!

This year, we’re welcoming 10 incredible families from 10 different states into our Adopt-A-Family program!

❤️ A Community Coming Together to Make a Difference!

This past Saturday, we hosted our Open Garage at the Village of Volo, and we’re so grateful for the continued support of our Riddick’s Ride community!

Our Open Garage gives families an opportunity to return equipment they no longer need, donate medical equipment and supplies that can help other children and families, and connect with us along the way.

Our Lending Garage is about so much more than equipment. It’s about sharing resources, making them accessible, and helping families caring for children with medical complexities feel supported throughout their journey. ❤️

As a 100% volunteer-driven organization, our mission has always come from the heart. Every returned piece of equipment, donated supplies, and connection helps us continue making a difference in the lives of these children and their families.

We know there may be a few hiccups and glitches along the way as we continue improving our processes. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through them and make adjustments wherever we can. We’re always learning and growing so we can better serve our families!

Getting shoes on and off can be a challenge for some kiddos, but BILLY Footwear is designed with accessibility in mind. Their unique zip-around design allows the upper of the shoe to open wide, making it easier to get feet in and out. 🙌

Riddick’s Ride and McNelly Services teamed up for a blood drive, and our community showed up in a BIG way! 🙌

Our goal was 14 donors, and together, we collected 19 units of blood with the potential to help 57 patients! Even better, 14 of our donors were first time Versiti donors!
That’s 14 people taking a step toward making a lifesaving difference!

❤️ HERE’S WHAT WE ACCOMPLISHED TOGETHER:

🎯 Goal: 14 donors
🗓️ Scheduled Donors: 24
❤️ Registered Donors: 17
🩸 Whole Blood Donations: 11
🔴 Double Red Cell Donations: 4 donors = 8 units
✨ First-Time Versiti Donors: 14
🩸 Total Units Collected: 19

💥 19 units collected = the potential to help 57 patients! 💥

Behind every donation is the potential to help someone in need. Whether it’s a patient undergoing surgery, someone battling an illness, or a family facing a medical emergency, blood donations make a difference when it matters most. ❤️

We are SO excited to share that all 10 families have officially been chosen for our 2026 Adopt-A-Family program! Our team is currently in the process of contacting each family, and we are hoping to publicly announce all 10 families by next week! We cannot wait for you to meet the incredible families we’ll be supporting this holiday season. ❤️
