Riddick's Ride Riddick's Ride is a non-profit organization that assists those with rare and/or complex medical needs

Riddick’s Ride was originally created for a boy named Riddick who had a rare chromosome 5q deletion. On March 29th, 2015, Riddick passed away on his 3rd birthday from a respiratory illness and ARDS. There were only 50 similar known cases around the world for the type of deletion that Riddick had. Out of those 50 cases, there were no known documented cases that were exactly the same deletion as Rid

dick. Riddick's parents made a promise to him the day he passed; a promise to continue Riddick’s Ride in his honor helping others to better the quality of their lives. For more information on Riddick's story log onto:

We are currently in search of a DJ for our Car Show on August 23rd in Island Lake. If anyone has any recommendations on who may work with us at a lower cost for the nonprofit, please send them our way as we would love to connect with them! There is a potential to work with them on our Funding for the Future event as well if availability and cost aligns!

These are just a few of the adorable kiddos who joined us at June’s Lending Garage event! ❤️

Since launching our new online lending system in January, we have fulfilled 92 orders with a total of 222 items!

Pediatric therapy equipment can be incredibly expensive, with many items costing $1,000 to well over $5,000 when purchased new. Through our Lending Garage program, families can access these essential resources at no cost, helping children get the support they need!

Thank you to everyone who donates, volunteers, and supports our mission-you are making a real difference in the lives of these amazing kids! ❤️

*Please note - there will be no July Lending Garage event. We are working on the late summer and early fall event dates.

That means we have just ONE spot remaining before applications close.

If your child could benefit from an adaptive bike, now is the time to apply. Adaptive bikes can cost thousands of dollars and are rarely covered by insurance, but they can provide freedom, independence, exercise, and joy that every child deserves.

Join us on July 8th at the McHenry Outdoor Theater for a fun-filled night under the stars featuring Minions & Monsters followed by Toy Story 5! 🌟
