This year has been incredibly special for Moms Not Forgotten. Not only have we had the privilege of honoring and supporting Birth-Moms through our work, but we were also humbled to be featured in the 2026 McHenry County Women of Distinction Magazine.

What began as a calling on my heart has grown into a mission to celebrate, encourage, and honor the courageous women who make an adoption plan. Every event, every Bag of Hope, and every connection reminds us why this work matters so much.

🌱🤍One of the greatest blessings of serving on the board of Moms Not Forgotten is that we get to walk through life together—caring for our families, enjoying everyday moments, pursuing our own responsibilities, and at the same time making a difference in the lives of Birth-Moms.

It’s amazing how a simple Zoom call, a message of encouragement, or a little time invested can help impact someone’s journey. We love that we don’t have to choose between family and service—we get to do both. Together, we’re building community, honoring Birth-Moms, and making a lasting difference one relationship at a time.

What a privilege it is to serve alongside such incredible women while doing life with the people we love most. 📸

🌷It was perfect timing as we were thanking everyone that helped with the Legacy & Lace Mother's Day Tea, we wanted to recognize Michelle Davidson of Thoughtful Fingers and low and behold she was standing up top as she didn't sit for two weeks in preparation for the tea. A huge thank you to Michelle for pouring so much time, heart, and creativity into the Legacy & Lace Mother’s Day Tea. From the stunning florals to the beautiful legacy tree that welcomed everyone as they walked in, every detail reflected love and thoughtfulness. She also created beautiful corsages and stepped in countless times behind the scenes whenever help was needed. Michelle’s kindness, talent, and servant heart blessed so many people, and we are truly grateful for all the beauty she brought to this special day.
