✨Last night, we had the opportunity of hosting a “Bags of Hope” Packing Party with an incredible group of ladies! Together, their families represent over SEVEN adoptions! 🥹💕

Seeing how these women are raising their children, living out their faith, and truly walking with Jesus is such a beautiful testimony of God’s goodness!

For the first time at one of our packing parties, we witnessed something incredibly special. TWO women were able to personally pack Bags of Hope for their very own birth-moms! 🥹💗

One was an adoptive mom lovingly packing a bag for her daughter’s birth-mom. Please check out her website👉www.purejoyadoption.com/start/birth-mom-relations/ •The other was an adoptee packing a bag especially for her own birth-mom.

Two different stories. Two beautiful connections. One incredible picture of the love that adoption brings. 🤍

There was something so powerful about watching these women carefully choose each item, knowing exactly whose hands would receive it. What a beautiful reminder of WHY we do what we do at Moms Not Forgotten!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to this amazing group of ladies for opening your doors and hosting us! We are so grateful for every person who came, every bag that was packed, and every prayer that was lifted.

🌱 We planted seeds last night, and I cannot wait to see what the LORD grows from them! We may never fully know the hearts that will be touched, but we trust that God is already at work.

Because every birth-mom deserves to feel SEEN, LOVED, CHERISHED, and NEVER FORGOTTEN! đź’•

Every item, every bag, and every little detail has a purpose—to remind a birth-mom that she is SEEN, LOVED, CHERISHED, and NEVER FORGOTTEN! 💕

What may look like just a bag to some is a beautiful reminder to a birth-mom that she matters and that her story matters.

So thankful for all the helping hands, generous hearts, and prayers that make this ministry possible! We can’t wait to see what God has planned for tonight! 🙏💗

💕🔦BIRTH MOM SPOTLIGHT: Meet Rachel!

Today, we are honored to spotlight one of our amazing Birth-Moms, Rachel! Might we add she has been with us from day 1!

✨Rachel is currently a graduate counseling student at Colorado Christian University and provides counseling under clinical supervision at KWR Practices.

Her areas of special interest include:
🌷 Anxiety & Depression
🌷 Christian Counseling
🌷 Life Transitions
🌷 Trauma

But what makes Rachel’s heart so special to us is that she is a Birth-Mom herself. She understands that the journey of a Birth-Mom can be filled with so many emotions, and she wants other Birth-Moms to know they don’t have to walk that journey alone.

I hated that wig….out of all the surgeries, IV’s, days staring at the ceiling in the hospital, Chemo that almost killed me…I hated the wig more. I think because I no longer looked or felt like the same girl as before. I had kids try to pull it off and yell out of the school bus “she’s wearing a wig” but you know what?? ONLY GOD…He knew the outcome, He knew the humiliation, sickness, the fear would all turn into a beautiful story for His good. He knew that I would not be the same girl going forward but He would use it…For His purpose. 🎗️So in honor of the last day of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month…you don’t know what He can do with your story, whether it’s a story of Cancer, a story of hardship and disappointment. A story of an unexpected pregnancy, He has something beautiful in store. 🤍🤍🤍Had I not had the Cancer I wouldn’t have my 3 beautiful children, we wouldn’t have an amazing Birth-Mom and there would be no Moms Not Forgotten. Sometimes you meet people and instantly know—this was no coincidence. This was God. 🤍

Through a series of connections that only the Lord could have orchestrated, we had the blessing of meeting an incredible family with a profound adoption story—one filled with faith, love, courage, and God’s hand woven through every detail resulting in two beautiful children and relationships with their brave Birth-Moms.

📣And we are SO excited to share that they will be joining us at our Mother’s Day Tea this year to share their story!✨

We can’t wait for you to hear how God brought their family together and the beauty from saying YES to adoption.

Some stories remind us that God is always working behind the scenes… connecting people, writing stories, and making a way before we can even see it.

📖🫶🏻A volunteer with a heart for HOPE.

We are so incredibly thankful for our sweet volunteer, Kim, who took the time to lovingly highlight Bibles for our Birth-Moms.

Every highlighted verse is a little reminder placed on a page: You are seen. You are loved. You are not forgotten. Especially by Him🤍

What may seem like a simple act of service can become a powerful message of hope in the hands of a Birth-Mom who needs it most.

This birthday feels a little different.

As I look at my beautiful daughter turning 18, I can’t help but think about another brave young woman who was this exact same age when she gave her life.

At just 18 years old, her birth-mom faced a decision that would forever change all of our lives. She chose life. She chose love. She chose a future for her daughter. And because of her courage and sacrificial love, I have had the incredible privilege of being her mom.

Today, I see 18 in a whole new way.

I see the courage it must have taken.
I see the sacrifice.
I see the love.
And most of all, I see God’s hand in a story He was writing long before we could understand it.

Happy 18th birthday to my beautiful girl. 🤍And to the woman who chose life for you at 18—your love and your legacy will never be forgotten.

Forever grateful that God brought our lives together through adoption. 🙏🏼✨
