Gonna start off this morning with another very special thank-you post. ❤️

This one is for the musicians who gave us something that can’t be measured — their time, their talent, and their hearts.

Music has a way of bringing people together, of making us laugh, remember, celebrate, and sometimes even shed a tear. And the music shared with us during this year’s ride helped make an already meaningful day even more special.

During our opening ceremonies, as the VFW Post 8850 Honor Guard presented the colors, Bryan Savage sang our National Anthem. Standing there, surrounded by our riders, friends, family, and community, hearing our National Anthem was one of those moments that reminds us exactly why we continue to do this every year. 🇺🇸

Then came the evening, and our musicians helped us celebrate Justin’s memory in the best way we know how — together.

Blake Myers opened the evening with a beautiful a ca****la performance of “God Bless the USA.” Bill Jones followed with Tim McGraw’s “If You’re Reading This,” a song that carries a message that hits especially close to home for us.

Bryan Savage took the stage again, followed by Tyler Waller, and we were so proud to have Chasing Yesterday close out the evening.

To every musician who stood in front of our crowd and shared your gift with us — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for believing in what we are doing. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for giving your time. And thank you for helping us keep Justin’s memory alive while raising money to give back to the young people in our community.

You could have spent your evening anywhere, but you chose to spend it with us. That means more than you know. ❤️

And to everyone reading this — please remember to support your local musicians. They give so much back to the communities they call home, and when we support them, they continue to show up and support us in return.

We are incredibly grateful for every person who helped make this year’s ride such a success.

For Justin. For his memory. For his Family & Friends. For our community.
Until next year… 🇺🇸🏍️❤️

Our next THANK YOU goes out to the places that opened their doors and welcomed us in this year. ❤️🇺🇸

First and foremost, Ironton VFW Post 8850 — our starting point and our finish line. Thank you for allowing us to call your post home for this ride year after year. Your continued support means more than we can put into words, especially your commitment to the Sgt. Justin B. Allen Memorial Scholarship. We are incredibly grateful for everything you do to help us honor Justin and keep his memory alive.

And to the posts that welcomed us along the way:

🇺🇸 American Legion Post 23 — Portsmouth
🇺🇸 VFW Post 1168 — Greenup
🇺🇸 American Legion Post 325 — Flatwoods

Thank you for opening your doors, welcoming our riders, and making us feel at home. Your hospitality, kindness, and continued support are a huge part of what makes this day so special.

Every year, we are reminded that this ride is about so much more than motorcycles. It’s about remembering Justin, supporting his scholarship, bringing people together, and surrounding his family and friends with a community that refuses to let his memory fade.

To each of you who welcomed us in and helped make this year’s ride possible — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️

Our next thank-you goes out to the incredible local law enforcement agencies and fire departments that helped make this year’s ride safe and successful.

Every year, the Ironton Fire Department proudly flies the American flag at the entrance to the cemetery, a tradition that means so much to all of us.

Throughout the ride, our local police officers and firefighters blocked intersections and es**rted us through the busier streets, allowing our riders to travel safely and without interruption.

A special thank you to Chad Kelly for coordinating our es**rt through Coal Grove, and to Bart Mills for covering the Ironton/Russell Bridge.

While I don’t know the names of every officer and firefighter who volunteered their time, please know that your efforts did not go unnoticed. We are truly grateful for your service and support.

Thank you to:

🇺🇸 Portsmouth Police Department

Unfortunately, I only have photos from some of the departments, so Coal Grove and Portsmouth aren’t pictured. Even so, we sincerely appreciate everything each department did to help make the 11th Annual Sgt. Justin B. Allen Memorial Ride a safe and successful event.

I want to take a moment to thank all the people who helped make the years ride and event a big success.
First my husband Rob Blackburn. He always puts in countless hours searching out new roads, planning the routes, pre riding to keep everyone safe, organizing our blockers, passing out flyers… the list goes on and on including dealing with my crazy when it comes down to ride week. 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️
It was great to have both of Justin’s siblings Brian & Jennifer there. We have spent hours on the phone over the last several months discussing and planning. Thank you for trusting me with something so important and dear to you both. Can’t wait to do it all again next year!!
Rick Barrett thank you for handling the opening ceremonies, for all the answered calls, answered questions, bank meetings, and all the time you put into this event year after year.
I could have never done this event without the dream team of ladies. Leslie, Pam, Terri, Gina, Becky, Maggie, Debbie, Lisa, Allison (I so hope I haven’t missed anyone)
Last but definitely not least. Dennis, Robbie, Ron, Krazy Rob, & John our blocker team, always willing to jump in and help.
