Southern Ohio Medical Center is proud to be a sponsor of Backpack Buddies! 🎒📚

This is an event that SOMC looks forward to supporting each year because it helps ensure local children head back to school with confidence. Through Backpack Buddies, children in need receive back-to-school clothing and school supplies to help them start the school year prepared for success.

This year, Southern Ohio Medical Center proudly donated $3,500 to support this incredible community initiative. We are grateful to partner with organizations that make such a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families throughout our region.

Together, we’re helping students begin the school year ready to learn and thrive. 💙

We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, August 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 1727 Campbell Drive, Ironton!

We have had several ask if they can donate online to help with our Back to School event! Yes you can!!

BackPack Buddies is a non-profit organization that provides food for children who have limited to no access to food over the weekends while in school.
