Great turnout for the Cemetery Walk! Thank you to all who came, our volunteers, Megan Kerns group and their lemonade stand to benefit the Museum, Vertiv, Lawrence County Transit, traffic control by Ironton Police Dept, and the Woodland Cemetery board and workers for allowing us to host this event ❤️

The Woodland Cemetery Walk is this Saturday - September 26th from 5-7 pm. Visitors can park in the brand new lot at Vertiv and catch a bus up to the cemetery. The event is FREE and programs with maps will be sold for $5 to benefit the Museum. We hope to see you there!

Tickets for the Holiday Tea are SOLD OUT. Thank You all for your support! We'll start decorating for it soon ❤️

We thank you for the overwhelming interest in the Christmas tea. As always, Historical Society Members get first opportunity to buy tickets. The remaining tickets were first come first serve. We had a larger than normal wait line this year.
We are looking into extending the amount of tickets available for the 2027 Spring Tea. We encourage everyone to check out the Christmas display in the Museum from mid Nov til mid December.

We need actors to portray Colonel William Lambert and Nannie Kelly Wright at the Cemetery Walk on Saturday, September 26th. We have the scripts, we just need your enthusiastic performance! Call/text Nicole Cox at (740) 646-4104 if you're interested.

Tonight's "Meet the Tigers" has been postponed due to weather but check out the Ironton Tanks display at the Museum any weekend, especially for "Ohio Opens Doors" on September 12th. And check back for the announcement where we present them with a plaque and banner to celebrate 100 YEARS OF TANKS MEMORIAL STADIUM

🇺🇸 We are honored to be a part of the 158th Ironton-Lawrence County Memorial Day Parade during our nation's 250th year 🇺🇸
Today, we pause in gratitude and remembrance. We salute the brave men and women who have served our country, pray for those currently standing watch in defense of our freedoms, and honor the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice. Their courage reminds us that freedom isn't free. May we never forget the cost paid by so many for the liberties we enjoy every day. 🇺🇸
