Thanks to you wonderful humans, we were able to raise $325 to cover the UPJ student's balance!

Check was sent off in the mail and UPJ Business Office is ready to receive it.

A local graduate of IHS is attending Pitt- Johnstown in the fall. They have applied for and have been approved for both federal and state financial aid, with a $291 balance. This doesnt even cover the books theyll need for classes. They unfortunately do not have a built in support system.

If you can help by donating and/or sharing, we would greatly appreciate it. 🙏🏻 Our hope is to at least get to $300, but would really love to get it to $1000 so they have funds for books and supplies. Anyone who has gone to college, understands that this can be a major transition. Please help in alleviating the enormity of this journey by making the start for this individual a little less stressful.

Donations will be collected through PayPal Giving Fund, transferred to our nonprofit bank account through First Commonwealth Bank and given directly to the university.

Lets show up for this kiddo and let them know the community is there for them. 🫡 Thank you so much yall!

It speaks volumes when the kids in our community talk about the library as fun and relaxing. Not every community is lucky enough to have a library.
