A Sunday afternoon filled with art…what could be better? Several of our IAA members have work at The Vault and will be in town painting in the parks and doing pottery demonstrations.

Enjoy a Sunday in Blairsville filled with art, murals, live painting, pottery demonstrations, and more!

The Vault will be open during the Art Stroll in Blairsville on Sunday, September 20th from 1pm to 3pm. Meet the artists and check out live demonstrations.

Not familiar with The Vault? Located across from Tractor Supply on Market Street, The Vault offers a casual window shopping experience for handcrafted gifts and fine art.

We have a lot of great classes coming up in July!

Join IAA and guest instructor, Sharon Stoika-Smay, for a special Red, White, and Blue Pysanky Egg class, running Monday evenings from July 13th through August 2nd. You'll decorate eggs with wax and special dyes to create unique, one-of-kind patterns.

Trish Dodson will teach two classes, including a Handmade Paper Workshop at her home on Thursday, July 16th and Watercolor Basics on Saturday, July 25th at The Artists Hand Gallery & Espresso Bar.

We had our IAA Annual Show last evening at The Artist Hand Gallery. The art submitted this year is diverse and exceptional. Our judge, Emily Taylor-Rice, did an exceptional job too. She put in extra time and reflection judging our show. She attended and took part in our awards ceremony by sharing her thoughts and comments as to why each selection was awarded. Thank you, Emily, for making our awards ceremony special. And, thank you to all the IAA members who participated.
