Tonight's the night! 🖼️ 🎨 🖌️

Join us at The Fox Clark Gallery from 5pm to 8pm for an Art Supply & Swap + a casual art making meet up.

We'll provide snacks. You bring your art supplies - for yourself to use or to share in the swap.

Work on your projects in the gallery or join Beth Wheeler to explore some simple, relaxing neurographic drawing techniques.

It's a great way to hang out at the gallery for a low-key, creative evening and maybe make some new friends!

This Saturday, October 3rd, The Fox Clark Gallery will host a reception for “My First, Last, and Probably Only” — A Retrospective by IAA member Kevin Wolford. Kevin is a talented creator, often lending a hand to hang shows or help out his fellow artists.

Please join us from 6pm to 8pm to experience Kevin’s collection of paintings, drawings, and in his words, general attempts at creating art. The show features watercolor landscapes, illustrative drawings, and graphic design to an assortment of abstract drawings and paintings.

The show runs from October 1st through November 7th.

Hello, IAA Members!

It's (almost) the most wonderful time of the year! Submit your tiny works of art for our grandest annual sale at The Artists Hand Gallery & Espresso Bar. The show will hang through December, offering little, gift-able creations to share over the holidays!

Drop off is Friday, October 2nd from 11am to 1pm.

Submissions must be smaller than 5" x 7" and ready to hang. All mediums are accepted and all pieces must be labeled for sale. Membership dues must be paid to participate. Please bring up to two pieces, with opportunities to enter more as artwork sells. Use the back door for drop off.

IAA members—Here’s a unique opportunity to sketch/paint together during Blairsville’s first ever Autumn Equinox Art Stroll on Sunday, September 20th from 1-3 p.m. This will take place in Blairsville’s new downtown park. Anyone who wants to come is welcome to join in for a fun and relaxing afternoon.

This is not an IAA event— it’s being held by the Friends of Blairsville Communities to celebrate Blairsville’s quaint downtown and shops, its many public art pieces, its growing art community and its beautiful new park (right next to Market Street Pastries).

The park where we’ll be located is super sweet—it includes a large stone fountain centerpiece, NYC style park benches, concrete tables/benches, art sculptures, two shade pergolas, beautiful potted and pollinator garden flowers, sensory plantings, various native trees/shrubs/grasses and more.

We can sketch/paint the park setting, the people in the park or some of the surrounding street scenes. Lots of options here! Bring your sketching materials or set up an easel and paint. Whatever suits you best. (Maybe enjoy a pastry/coffee from MSP while you’re at it.)

Blairsville’s unique window art gallery, The Vault, will be open and there will be artists there too—several of whom are IAA members. The afternoon will include art demos and tours of downtown’s numerous murals and fine art sculptures. Various shops will be open. There will be food and music. It truly promises to be a special couple of hours—and you’re invited!

The park is located on the corner of Market St. (the main street) and S. Stewart St. Very easy to find.

We had our IAA Annual Show last evening at The Artist Hand Gallery. The art submitted this year is diverse and exceptional. Our judge, Emily Taylor-Rice, did an exceptional job too. She put in extra time and reflection judging our show. She attended and took part in our awards ceremony by sharing her thoughts and comments as to why each selection was awarded. Thank you, Emily, for making our awards ceremony special. And, thank you to all the IAA members who participated.
