✨ Good Afternoon, Friends! ✨
We are excited to share a glimpse of what is to come through Salt & Light Ministry Services.
As we continue growing and serving our community, we are preparing to launch the Salt & Light Community Care Initiative — an outreach effort focused on bringing hope, encouragement, and practical support to individuals and families in need.
Some of the projects currently in development include:
🤍 Hope Bags for individuals experiencing homelessness
🤍 Care Bags for children and families facing difficult circumstances
🤍 Hygiene and essential item distributions
🤍 Community outreach opportunities
🤍 Handwritten notes of encouragement to remind people they are seen, valued, and loved
One area that is especially close to our hearts is reaching children and families directly within our communities. Rather than focusing solely on seasonal events or back-to-school distributions, we hope to visit neighborhoods, parks, and community spaces where needs exist and provide Care Bags filled with practical items, encouragement, and small resources that can brighten a family's day and remind them that someone cares.
Our goal is not simply to hand out items, but to build connections, encourage families, and meet people where they are.
As we prepare for these outreach efforts, we welcome those who would like to volunteer, partner with us, donate items, write encouragement cards, or support this initiative in any way. No contribution is too small, and every act of kindness helps make a difference.
We are still in the planning and preparation stages, but we wanted to invite you to be part of the journey from the very beginning.
