The Hughesville Little Spartans Flag Football teams were back at home today, taking on the Milton Panther Cubs!

🏈 JV FLAG — SPARTANS WIN 13–12!
What a finish! Our JV Spartans battled all the way down to the FINAL PLAY OF THE GAME, when #7 Greyson Kapp scored the GAME-WINNING TOUCHDOWN to give Hughesville an exciting 13–12 victory! 🏈🔥

Way to fight until the very last play, Spartans! 💪💚🤍

STOCK THE CONCESSIONS DRIVE — WEEK #4!

We’ve made it to Week #4 of our annual Stock the Concessions Drive, and we need your help to FINISH STRONG!💪

💵 This week, our primary focus is MONETARY DONATIONS to help us purchase the remaining supplies needed to keep our concession stand stocked throughout the season.

Monetary donations can be made through:

💚 Check: Payable to LFSC

💵 Cash: Can be dropped off during practice

We will also gladly accept ANY donations from our previous weeks, including:

🥤 Drinks: Bottles of Pepsi products & Gatorade
❄️ Frozen Goods: Ice pops, hot dogs, chicken fingers & mozzarella sticks

🏈 **LITTLE SPARTANS JV B TACKLE GETS THE WIN!** 🏈

The Little Spartans JV B Tackle team took on Montoursville on Sunday, August 30th, and came away with a victory in their season opener! 💪

The Spartans wasted no time getting on the board, taking the lead on their very first possession with a rushing touchdown by #9 Seth Baysore! 🏈🔥

Just before halftime, #22 Finn Heege found the end zone to add another touchdown and extend the Spartans' lead.

Montoursville battled back, forcing a fumble and scoring on that drive. But the Hughesville defense stood strong, holding the Warriors to just one score for the entire game! 🛡️💚

The Spartans locked things down the rest of the way and went on to clinch their first win!

🏆 **FINAL SCORE**
💚 Hughesville Spartans — 12
Montoursville Warriors — 6

Congratulations to our JV B Tackle players and coaches on a hard-fought team victory! Way to go, Spartans! 💚🤍🏈

🏈 GREAT FIRST GAME FOR OUR HUGHESVILLE A TEAM BOYS!

On Saturday, August 29th, the Hughesville A team boys had a fantastic first game playing alongside the combined Muncy Indians team! 💚💙

🔥 Varsity: Bryce, Dylan, Joey, and EJ all had solid performances and helped Muncy earn a **6–0 victory over Jersey Shore!** Bryce scored the only touchdown of the game to help secure the win! 🏆

💪 JV: Matthew had a great day on defense, locking down the Jersey Shore passing game! The JV squad battled hard but ultimately fell to Jersey Shore 14–7.

Overall, it was a great day of football for our Hughesville boys and the Muncy Indians!

Next week, the boys will be **HOME in Muncy** as they take on a tough Montoursville team!
