There’s a reason Houston shows up here every Saturday. 🧺

Urban Harvest Farmers Market is operated by Urban Harvest, Inc., a nonprofit serving Houston for 30+ years and working to support local food, community, and the people who grow, raise, make, and prepare what we eat.

Every vendor is located within 180 miles of Houston, reviewed by the Market Review Committee, and part of a year-round market that helps keep food fresh and dollars close to home.

Visit us every Saturday, rain or shine, from 8 AM to 12 PM.

Design with nature, community, and the future in mind! 🌎

Urban Harvest’s 2026–2027 Permaculture Design Certification is a 100-hour, hands-on learning journey exploring sustainable living systems, ecosystem restoration, community resilience, and whole-systems design.

Across five seasonal units, students will learn through classroom instruction, field and farm site visits, integrated design projects, and a final capstone Design Project Showcase. Topics include permaculture ethics and principles, productive gardens, green homes and communities, ecological restoration, food systems, biodiversity, and more.

The program runs from September 2026 through May 2027, with sessions held primarily on Sundays at Trees for Houston and select field sites.

Scholarship work-study opportunities are now available, with priority for Houston residents who are community gardeners, students, food activists, and growers.
