The Golden Circle of Houston is a community organization for the support and education of the Kithani (black swans) & M'kheru (donors) of the Houston Vampire, Therian, and Otherkin communities. ems faced by the Friends & Donors of the Houston Vampire Community. We are a safe place for all Kithani & M'Keru to to learn, love, grow & serve the community as Councilors, Companions, & Donors. For far too long Kithani and M'kheru have been thought of as "Swans" to be hunted, stalked, & fed from as if for sport. From now on we shall be respected, and our gifts to you honored, or they both shall be denied. We refuse to live in fear of abuse by those who need us any longer, or to be corralled into "donor havens" like cattle with no voice in the community that we too are a part of. The mission of the Golden Circle Court of Houston is:
*To promote congruity within the greater Houston community while advocating for the safety and well being of our members.
* To establish and maintain a local/national communication, information, and support network for all vampire, therian, otherkin, pagan, & kithani while increasing communication and understanding among vampire, therian, otherkin, pagan, & kithani.
* Within the larger communities, we seek to provide education, increasing understanding and communication between the community and the mundane world.
* To guide new Kithani and M'Keru in a positive manner, and to inform people about the truth of what we are. In this way, we keep them from entertaining these false notions of fantasy & fiction so that they do not desire to become one, based on these falsehoods.
* To facilitate the destruction of stereotypes, misconceptions, and media misrepresentations; and to provide, through the strategic dissemination of information, publications, etc., a foundation for the acceptance and tolerance of vampire, therian, otherkin, pagan, & kithani.
* To support, encourage, and aid individuals in their desires or efforts to disseminate factual information by providing resources both beneficial and relevant to the vampire, therian, otherkin, pagan, & kithani communities.
* To establish and maintain a standard and acceptable code of ethics and conduct within the communities; and to regulate the reasonable enforcement of this code, when necessary. The Court's primary focus is expanding the educational boundaries of our own members and local community while improving knowledge among the population. It is from this collective that we draw our strength in the fields of the occult, paranormal, para-psychological, phenomenological, psionics, and general underground community research. The Golden Circle Court of Houston as an autonomous organization within the vampire, therian, otherkin, pagan, & kithani communities. We are not directly affiliated with any other organization. Our policies regarding those we do accept and the maturity of our members are taken very seriously. The Golden Circle Court of Houston encourages self-awareness and responsibility. We emphasize the importance of education and the strength of involvement for all. By taking an active role we will serve not only ourselves but also our community. We support each member's journey down a path of spiritual and intellectual growth that is appropriate for them.
