Angel Babies Matter Network

Angel Babies Matter Network We support mothers & families coping with pregnancy and infant loss. We know it’s not just a pregnancy loss, your baby mattered!

Our mission is to equip moms who have suffered loss of life from miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal death with tools to grieve, heal and honor their angel baby who matters. We also help supporters with ideas how to reach out to moms who have experienced the loss of a baby.

Black Maternal Health Week begins today. 🖤
Black women are 2–3 times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes in the U.S.—and many of these deaths are preventable.
We honor Black mothers, hold space for their stories, and continue the work toward safer, more supportive care for every family.

✨ Grateful for another opportunity to serve ✨

We recently delivered care packages to Inspira Resource Center, supporting families navigating pregnancy and infant loss. It’s always meaningful to place these resources directly into the hands of those who need them most.

A heartfelt thank you to Jonnell for welcoming us and helping make this connection possible. Partnerships like this allow us to extend care, compassion, and support deeper into our communities.

Each package represents more than supplies. It’s a reminder that families are seen, supported, and not alone in their journey.

💖 Special thanks to ABMN member Bilal Houston for assisting with this delivery. Your consistency and commitment continue to make an impact.

This work happens through community, and we’re honored to be part of that.

We are honored and excited to be an exhibitor at the Healing Legacies: Black Maternal Health Panel 💚✨

This powerful event is centered on “Rooted in Justice and Joy,” and I’m grateful for the opportunity to represent Angel Babies Matter Network as we continue supporting mothers and families through pregnancy and infant loss.

If you’re in the Houston area, come out and join us on April 11th at 10 AM! This is such an important conversation around Black maternal health, healing, and community.

Hope to see you there 💕

We want to take a moment to highlight the two providers we visited:

• Community Pregnancy Center of Pasadena
• Women’s Health Specialists of Pasadena

Between these two locations, providers are reporting over 100 pregnancy and infant losses each year—impacting predominantly Black and Latino mothers in the Pasadena/Port Houston area.

As we approach Black Maternal Health Week (April 11–17), we remain committed to supporting mothers through grief, healing, and mental health, whether the loss occurs early or later in pregnancy.

Every loss matters. Every mother matters. 💙🕊️

We’re proud to share that Angel Babies Matter Network will be participating in NAMIWalks Greater Houston on May 16th 🖤

Mental health and grief support go hand in hand. For many mothers and families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss, the journey doesn’t end at the hospital. Ongoing emotional support and community are essential.

That’s why this walk matters.

We’re walking to raise awareness, honor the families we serve, and continue advocating for accessible, compassionate mental health support in our communities.

We would love for you to walk with us.

As Black History Month comes to a close, I want to reflect on the devastating reality that pregnancy and infant loss disproportionately impact Black families in the United States. 🖤

Black women are significantly more likely to experience complications, loss, and gaps in compassionate care.

At Angel Babies Matter Network, we show up through community events, care package distribution to hospitals, healing circles, and support groups that create safe spaces for mothers and families to grieve, process, and heal together.

This Black History Month, we honor resilience — and recommit to showing up with compassion, support, and action.
