🕯️ REMEMBERING HURRICANE KATRINA — AUGUST 29, 2005 🕯️

Today, 21 years later, we pause to remember the lives, families, and communities forever changed by Hurricane Katrina. 💜

At Angel Babies Matter Network, our hearts are especially with the mothers and families who endured pregnancy loss, infant loss, or the loss of a child during the storm and in its devastating aftermath. 👼🏽🕊️

In the midst of evacuation, displacement, destroyed homes, separated families, and unimaginable uncertainty, there were mothers grieving babies they loved deeply. Their babies mattered then, and they still matter today.

We remember the babies whose names may never have appeared in the headlines.
We remember the mothers who carried grief while trying to survive.
We remember the families whose stories are forever connected to August 29, 2005.

21 years later, we remember. We honor. We say their babies mattered. 💜👼🏽
