Yesterday, our Joyful Explorers had a wonderful outing at the Zoo! 🦁🐘🦒

Our participants had the opportunity to learn more about the amazing animals that call the Zoo home, including how many different species there are, where they come from, and the unique habitats they live in. 🌎🌿

It was a fun-filled day of learning, exploring, and making memories together! We love creating opportunities for our individuals to discover the world around them while having a joyful time with friends. 💙

As a proud member of the DSAH family and part of Team Evelyn at the Buddy Walk, she is hoping to receive the support of our amazing community.

As we close out this incredible soccer week, we want to say THANK YOU. ⚽️💙💛

Thank you to our amazing players for showing us, once again, just how much people with Down syndrome are capable of achieving. Your determination, passion, and joy inspire us every single day.

And most of all, thank you to the parents and families who stand behind them every step of the way. Too often, families are met with doubt, low expectations, or negativity about what their loved ones can do. But you continue to believe, encourage, advocate, and open doors, and your love and dedication show the world what is truly possible.

This week was about so much more than soccer. It was about friendship, inclusion, confidence, and showing the world that when people are given the opportunity, they can shine.

Different countries, different languages, one family. 🌎❤️
