We’re not just filling homes—we’re planting seeds. Seeds of faith. Seeds of confidence. Seeds of belonging. Seeds of a brighter future.

A bed of his own and a Bible… these things may seem small, but they can change the trajectory of a child’s life.

This is why we do what we do 💚

Sometimes the most beautiful part of a home isn’t the furniture.

It’s the feeling of belonging.

This weekend we watched Cassandra and her family walk into a home filled with hope, dignity, and being one step closer to reunification.

This is what your support makes possible. ❤️🏡

Welcome home, Cassandra and family ❤️

Today, we had the honor of transforming an apartment into a home for Cassandra and her children. Referred to us by the Hall County Housing Authority, this Rooting Day marks more than just furnished rooms and made beds—it marks a new beginning.

Because of the support provided through this project, Cassandra’s housing goals have been met, helping close her case and paving the way for family reunification. Soon, her children will be able to move back home where they belong—together, under one roof.

This is why we do what we do. Every bed, every lamp, every piece of furniture represents stability, dignity, and hope for a family working toward a brighter future.

Thank you to our incredible donors and volunteers who gave their time, resources, and hearts to make this day possible. Special thanks to Oh So Cozy for donating the remainder of their inventory and helping us create beautiful spaces for families in need.

We are also deeply grateful for the continued support of our annual sponsors, Pop’s Estate & Marketplace and Tanger Outlets Commerce, whose partnership helps make stories like Cassandra’s possible.

Today wasn’t just about furnishing a home—it was about helping restore a family.

We’re excited to officially welcome Lisa Little to the Rooted Interiors family!

Lisa brings a unique blend of creativity, compassion, and service to our mission. With years of experience in interior design, home furnishings, in-home residential design, custom drapery, and vintage furniture and décor, she understands the power of creating spaces that feel beautiful, comfortable, and uniquely personal.

But what makes Lisa such a perfect fit for Rooted goes beyond design.

Throughout her career, she has also served as a DFCS eligibility caseworker and helped countless individuals achieve their GED as an Adult Education Instructor. Her heart for helping others and her belief in second chances align perfectly with our mission of transforming empty houses into homes filled with hope.

Lisa’s passion for both people and design will help us continue creating spaces where families can heal, grow, and thrive.

Please join us in giving Lisa a warm Rooted welcome! ❤️🏠

A house is built with walls, windows, and a roof.

A home is built with second chances.

This family’s journey has taken them through addiction, homelessness, separation, recovery, reunification, and years of hard work to rebuild what was once broken.

There were moments when bringing all six of their children back home felt impossible.

But they didn’t give up.

Through recovery. Through accountability. Through faith. Through programs like No Longer Bound and Family Promise of Hall County that offered stability when they had nowhere else to turn. Through community members who believed they were worth a second chance.

Last Saturday, we had the honor of helping transform their first home into a place that reflects the love, resilience, and restoration that brought them here.

As we watched them walk through each room, we were reminded that sometimes the most beautiful transformations aren’t the ones we create with furniture and décor.

They’re the ones God creates in people.

Welcome home, family. ❤️🏠

We clicked open Dorothy's testimonial expecting a paragraph.

Instead, we may have discovered an author.

When Dorothy sent us her testimonial after receiving her Rooting Day bedroom transformation, we expected a few kind words. What arrived was a breathtaking story of childhood dreams, homelessness, resilience, faith, and the meaning of finally having a place to call your own.

There were moments that left us speechless. Moments that made us cry. And one line we'll never forget:

"Maybe if it ever rains again and I find myself outside, I'll have an umbrella."

This isn't just a testimonial.

It's a story.

And it's one everyone should read.

Read Dorothy's story in her own words:

Dorothy's Story in Her Own Words. We were so moved by her words that we wanted to share them exactly as she wrote them.

What a day ❤️

We completed our largest Rooting Day and served our biggest family to date—transforming a 5 bedroom house into a home for a family of nine.

Days like this remind us that it truly takes a village. We are incredibly grateful for every donor, volunteer, partner, and supporter who helped make this transformation possible. Because of your generosity, this family now has a space filled with comfort, dignity, and hope.

A special thank you to:
✨ Family Promise of Hall County for referring such a deserving family and supporting them on their journey to first-time homeownership.
✨ Julia at Sleep in Heavenly Peace - GA, Jackson Co for providing two twin beds for the twins.
✨ Chick-fil-A Jefferson for keeping our volunteers fueled with lunch.
✨ Ohsocozy for generously donating some of their remaining inventory.
✨ Ben with Braselton News for helping capture and document this special story.

We can’t wait to share the full reveal with you all. Stay tuned for before-and-after photos, the family’s reaction, and our upcoming newspaper feature!

Thank you for helping us prove that everyone deserves a place to call home. 🏡
