A huge shoutout to our incredible HCA Visual Arts volunteers for helping bring the Sharon Timlin Memorial 5K starting line project to life! 🎨🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

This weekend, Brianna Mangano, Holly Lafave, Megann Filios, and race organizer Stephanie Whelan dedicated their Saturday and Sunday mornings to creating a vibrant new starting line design. Brianna and Holly collaborated on the logo design, transforming an idea into a colorful, welcoming landmark for participants and spectators alike.

Thank you for sharing your creativity, talent, and time to make this project a reality. Community-powered art like this is what makes Hopkinton so special! ❤️✨ The Sharon Timlin Memorial Event - A Race to Cure ALS will be held Saturday, June 13. Enter Stage Left Theater's Paul Champlin and HCA Executive Director Kelly Grill attended the 80th Annual Theater World Awards ceremony at the Longacre Theatre in New York City on June 2. Peter Filichia, who currently serves as Chair of the Theater World Awards Selection Committee, hosted the event.

First presented in 1945, the Theatre World Awards are the oldest awards honoring Broadway and Off-Broadway debut performances. Each year, 12 performers are recognized at a private, invitation-only ceremony, highlighting emerging talent in the theater community.

The visit was particularly meaningful as Paul Champlin will direct Peter Filichia’s comedy, Larry, The Big-Time Broadway Producer, for Enter Stage Left Theater at HCA this October.

Opportunities like these not only strengthen relationships with nationally respected artists and industry leaders but also allow HCA to celebrate and champion the performing arts on a larger stage. Through these connections, audiences and artists in Hopkinton become part of a broader cultural conversation that extends well beyond Central Massachusetts.

HCA has become the home of a memorial bench dedicated to the memory of Virginia "Dinny" Potenza by her husband.

Dinny was one of the original member artists of the Cultural Arts Alliance when that organization partnered with Enter Stage Left Theater to form HCA. She was a prolific artist, as well as a children's librarian at the Hopkinton Library for many years.

Dinny passed away in 2024, and we are delighted to honor her artistic legacy in the garden of the place where so much of her creative life and community spirit flourished. We hope this bench will serve as a place of reflection, remembrance, and inspiration for years to come.

What a wonderful evening celebrating the HCA Teen Advisory Board! 🎉

At our 2026 Induction and Graduation Ceremony, we welcomed new members, honored our graduating seniors—Ali, Kaesha, Eleanor, and Sasha—and celebrated the incredible impact they've made on our community.

We're also excited to introduce our new leadership team: Aarav and Isabella, who will join current co-chair Urmi as vice-chair and co-chair, respectively.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the night so special. Here's to another year of creativity, leadership, friendship, and making a difference through TAB! 💙✨
