Happy Birthday, Mother Lula Reed! 🌹🎉
Today, we celebrate and honor a true woman of God whose life has been a blessing to so many. Mother Reed has faithfully served the Lord with humility, love, and unwavering dedication. She is a prayer warrior who has stood in the gap, encouraged the weary, and remained steadfast in her faith.
Her loyalty, consistency, and commitment to the Kingdom have been an inspiration to our church family. Through every season, she has remained faithful when others retreated, always pointing others to Christ through her life and her prayers.
We thank God for the gift of Mother Reed and for the wisdom, grace, and strength she continues to share with us. May the Lord bless her abundantly with good health, renewed strength, overflowing joy, and many more years of His favor.
Happy Birthday, Mother Reed! Thank you for your faithfulness, your prayers, and your love. We celebrate you today and pray God's richest blessings over your life.
With love, your Church Family. 💜🙏🎂

From the Desk of Dr Alecia W. Garrick :

Tonight, I had planned to continue our Bible Study. However, after much prayer and reflection, I feel led to pause our regular teaching and call our community to a time of prayer.
As our community mourns the tragic loss of Cyrus Belton, many hearts are hurting, questions remain, emotions are high, and families are grieving. During times like these, we must be reminded that prayer is not our last response—it is our first response.
Tonight, we will gather to pray for Cyrus' family, for our community, for our young people, for our leaders, and for peace during the memorial and peaceful protest.
We are not gathering to debate.
We are not gathering to divide.
We are gathering to seek God's presence, wisdom, comfort, healing, and justice.
The Bible reminds us in Matthew 5:9,
"Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God."
As people of faith, we will stand together believing that God can bring comfort where there is sorrow, healing where there is pain, and peace where there is unrest.
Please join us as we lift up our voices in prayer for the Belton family and for the healing of our community.
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." — Psalm 147:3
