Our recovery oriented programs help individuals gain self-confidence, build employment skills, and foster relationships.

Crossroads Clubhouse is housed in a turn of the century colonial mansion in Hopedale. It is a warm, inviting environment where we offer adults with a history of mental illness a community that is built on peer support and rehabilitation. Clubhouse members and staff work together in all elements of clubhouse operations. Our “work-ordered day” is the backbone of our program and offers members the opportunity to engage in the community and build skills such as banking and budgeting skills, food service, newsletter production, and landscaping, while working alongside staff and other members to contribute to the overall goals of Crossroads. We also offer employment and housing support, dual recovery meetings, health & wellness programs, and social events.

OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW!

We have replaced our old, red chairs with fancy new black chairs!

They're super comfortable and everyone seems to be settling into to them with ease!

On Saturday October 10th, we attended the Autumnfest in Woonsocket! 🍂🍁

There was so much to enjoy and see, from the carnival rides and several food trucks, there were also several vendors stands selling an assortment of goodies and homemade items.🎠🎡We enjoyed trying food and seeing all the cool things that people had on display. We even got to see a reptile show and Witch Dancers!

This is such a fun event that goes on for a couple days in October each year, we definitely recommend checking it out if you ever get the chance!

Monday October 5th was the annual C.A.R.E. (Celebrating Achievement & Recognizing Excellence) Awards. We love celebrating and witnessing such beautiful work! So many people get recognized for going above and beyond!

We even got to see our wonderful friend Orville Thompson get a C.A.R.E. Award; he's such a phenomenal help here at Crossroads. Anytime we've had tech issues, he's always there. He knows how to help and cares very much about those he's helping!

Everyone had a wonderful time, the food was delicious and the speeches were even better! It was a delightful event, and we look forward to attending again next year!

There's been an addition of ducks scattered around Crossroads 🦆

We arrived a couple days ago to these cute little friends placed all over!

We don't know who did this, but it's been a delightful surprise and has put a smile on everyone's face!

Saturday, September 19th was a day to remember as we attended the Elliot House Fundraiser BBQ, and it truly was a blast! We were thrilled to be a part of this amazing event and felt very glad to have had the opportunity to attend. 🎉

We had a blast, munching down hot dogs and hamburgers, enjoying the raffles. We even got to enjoy listening to the live music. It was a great time seeing our clubhouse community and friends, and we can't wait until next year!

Part 2 of our summer adventures!

We love planning fun things to do, here we went to the Hopkinton State Park Beach and also took a trip to Salem. Getting out of the clubhouse for the day was nice, with beautiful weather and great company, our outings are always things we look forward to doing!

At the beach, we enjoyed taking a dip in the water, which was a perfect temperature for the lovely weather we had that day (as you can see in the photos!). Some of us enjoyed laying out and tanning, while others enjoyed being in the water and collecting rocks. It was a fun day for all!

Going to Salem is something we look forward to each year. It's been a popular choice, and we always look forward to going! From the many shops, museums and spooky stores, there is always something to look at or explore. We do also always make sure to stop for pizza at Essex's N.Y. Pizza & Deli! Overall, another wonderful trip!

For the last couple weeks, we have been going on some pretty fun adventures!

Here's Part 1! Some of our recent trips have been to the Boston Aquarium as well as a Bingo Cruise in Boston that took us out on a beautiful boat ride around Seaport! We've had some memorable experiences and each year when we do our trips, more and more people attend, and we love being able to go out and do these fun activities.

The Aquarium was such a fun day, some of us even got to touch a manta ray! From seeing the seahorses to penguins, there was so many eye-catching exhibits and animals to see! Some of the favorite things to see were the jellyfish and viewing the seal show! We definitely recommend visiting if you're ever around Boston.

The Bingo Cruise was a new and exciting! Most of us had never been on a yacht before, it was definitely an experience to remember! We had a delicious buffet lunch, an open coffee and dessert bar and playing BINGO on a fancy boat always makes it more fun! It was even fun when some of us took a break and went to the top deck of the boat and you could see everything! The weather was great and views were amazing!

Overall, it's been an eventful summer, and we can't wait for next year!

In addition to all of our Clubhouse communities from Riverside in attendance, we had the pleasure of having some special guests at our cookout: Representative Soter, Representative McKenna, and Selectman Lazzaro.

Rep. Michael Soter was the first to arrive. Soter is a Massachusetts Representative for the 8th District in Bellingham. Some of his current projects are focused on honoring Officer LaPorta and his family; this is a joined project with other Massachusetts Representatives; and protecting the Commonwealth from cybersecurity threats and protecting the public's safety.

Selectman Nick Lazzaro arrived. He is currently a Selectman from the town of Millbury, as well as a candidate for Massachusetts Representative for the 7th District. He fights to make Massachusetts more affordable and safe, fighting against corporate greed.

Rep. Joe McKenna arrived later, asking questions and showing great interest in what we do and what we’re about, even talking about planning another visit to the Clubhouse! McKenna is currently working on educating schools on the importance of certain medical treatments, such as antiseizure and epilepsy medications.
Rep. McKenna has a strong background in clinical services which can greatly impact more positive outcomes for Clubhouses with his support.

We really appreciate all of their time and look forward to collaborating in the future!

🌺🌸Saturday August 8th was our Annual Summer Cookout!🌸🌺

We hosted over 100 people and oh my goodness it was a blast!

Each year we love getting our yard ready, planning out everything down to the detail and deciding what food should be served as well as what infamous activities we will be doing! It's such a fun time getting everyone in our community involved!

This year we had to have the fabulous Oliva's Market, Catering & Gourmet Gifts serve up a delicious Hawaiian themed meal, from pulled pork to classic Hawaiian pizza and delicious chicken dishes, all was enjoyed! Juniper Farms Ice Cream served up delicious ice cream from their truck, it was a great, cold treat to end our afternoon!🍦🍗🍕

We can't forget our musical entertainment, Heads of State, bringing such great melodies and energy every year they come out! 🎤🎶

Thank you everyone who attended, we can't wait until next year!
