Volunteer Spotlight: Our Pack 292 Families!
As we wrap up our Volunteer Spotlight series, we want to recognize one final group of volunteers—our amazing Cub Scout families, friends, and supporters.
Hooksett Cub Scout Pack 292 is so much more than den leaders and committee members. It is the parents who stay to help clean up after a meeting, the grandparents who cheer on our Scouts, the families who volunteer for a popcorn shift, cook a meal at camp, help set up Pinewood Derby, lead a hike, or simply step in when an extra hand is needed.
Every act of service, no matter how big or how small, helps make Pack 292 the welcoming, fun, and successful pack that it is today. Because of your time, talents, and dedication, our Scouts have opportunities to camp, hike, serve their community, build friendships, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
There are so many ways to support Scouting in Hooksett. Maybe you'd like to volunteer at an event or become a leader. Maybe your way of helping is buying popcorn from one of our Scouts this fall, helping them earn their way through Cub Scouts and summer camp. Or perhaps you'll support our biggest service project of the year by donating to Scouting for Food this November. Together, we can help keep the Hooksett Food Pantry stocked and support neighbors in our community who could use a helping hand.
We also want to take a moment to give a special thank you to the Hooksett Lions Club, our chartered organization. Thank you for believing in Cub Scout Pack 292, supporting our mission, and continuing to stand beside our Scouts and families. Your dedication, encouragement, and partnership help make it possible for us to provide a strong Cub Scout program for the youth of Hooksett and the surrounding communities. We are truly grateful for all that you do.
If you've been following this Volunteer Spotlight series and have thought, "Maybe I could help," we'd love to welcome you to the team. There is a place for everyone, and no contribution is too small. Whether you can volunteer once a year or every month, you'll be making a difference in a Scout's life. Maybe you don’t have children in this age group any longer and miss seeing life through the eyes of a child. (Don’t worry, all our volunteers go through training and background checks).
