Just completed our camping/backpacking weekend at Griswold Scout Reservation! We were blessed with a dry sunny Friday night and Saturday to prep for a wet rainy Sunday hiking back. Scouts worked hard to build a fire with the wet materials, and gained skills about hiking, carrying gear and the importance of fueling themselves along the way. Great memories made!

March cabin camping at Camp Wanocksett where we focused on advancement skills. It was chilly but we were lucky to have heat in the cabins. The best parts were the warm fire 🔥 and watching "Miracle" in the camp's rec building on a projector screen. Great team building film! 🎥

Troop 292 was well represented at this year’s 8th grade Cawley musical, Lion King Jr. Lucas, Alex and Rhys put on great performances both nights, proud of you guys!

Klondike Derby captures. It was cold and there were a few challenges but these Scouts persevered through them! All in all a great learning experience. 💪

Do you still have your Christmas tree? This probably isn't the best way to dispose of it, it might upset your neighbors...
There's a better way: Sign up at http://trees.troop292nh.com and have the scouts take your tree away to feed to goats! Just choose your pickup date and donation amount and we'll take it away. On your chosen date, just leave your undecorated tree by the curb, it's that easy! Thank you for your support of scouting in Hooksett!

A busy day of Scouting in Hooksett today! First helping with Pack 292’s Pinewood Derby, then a planning session for this summer’s weeklong troop trip to Hershey Park, the Outer Banks and Philly, and finishing up by spending some fun time at Suncook UMC’s Game Night. 😊
