🎅🚲 Santa Claus in June? Not quite!

If you saw what looked like St. Nick driving through our Citrus Springs neighborhood this morning, you aren't seeing things! It was actually a special delivery of brand-new bike donations from our wonderful friends at the Kiwanis Club of Inverness.

There is truly nothing quite like the magic of gifting a child their very own bike when they move into their new Habitat home. One of the best parts of our neighborhood is the sweet "bike brigade" of kids that fills the streets after school and all summer long.

A massive thank you to the Kiwanis Club for keeping that beautiful tradition alive and bringing so many smiles to our community! 🏡✨

💙👏 A Special Thank You to the Citrus High School Key Club! 👏💙

The Kiwanis Club of Inverness would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the amazing students of the Key Club for their hard work and dedication during the 42nd Annual Cobia Big Fish Tournament.

These outstanding young men and women spent their weekend volunteering, helping wherever needed, and representing the spirit of service that makes our community so special. Their positive attitudes, strong work ethic, and willingness to lend a hand did not go unnoticed.

Many people may not realize that Key Club is the high school service leadership program sponsored by Kiwanis. As an extension of local Kiwanis Clubs, Key Club gives students opportunities to develop leadership skills, serve their communities, build lasting friendships, and make a positive impact through volunteerism. Together, Kiwanis and Key Club share a common mission of improving the lives of children and strengthening our communities.

Community events like this are only possible because of volunteers like you. Thank you for giving your time, supporting your community, and setting an incredible example for others to follow.
