Meet the Instructor || Miss Meg
Miss Meg is the owner and head instructor at Signature Dance Co. She’s been teaching dance for more than 20 years and opened the studio in the summer of 2016.
{Favorite Style to dance to}
Tap! The older I get the more I realize tap is for everyone and I just love the way I feel when I finish a tap routine!
{Favorite style to choreograph/teach}
Contemporary/lyrical. I’m a storyteller. I love to use the dance floor like the pages of my journal, sharing my deepest most profound thoughts and feelings through every piece I share.
{Favorite thing about teaching}
On the dance floor: watching the moment a dancer falls in love with dance. It’s either that very first class, the first successful skill, or the moment they’re walking off the stage. That feeling should be bottled up. The joy is palpable.
Off the floor: the connections. Being a shoulder to lean on, another person in their corner. The hugs I get outside of the studio when seeing a student are my favorite.
{When you’re not on the dance floor, where can we find you}
Wrangling a toddler, going for walks, reading a good book, and spending time with Mr. Miss Meg and our family and friends!

{what are you reading} 📖
Probably a romance book that my teens will shamelessly tease me for!
