You guys, we spent $1,990.00 this week having dogs spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchip and heartworm tested.
We took in 2 more of our community dogs. One of which was a very sick puppy. Thankfully, she is on the mend.
We still have 5 adult dogs that need spay/neuter, microchip and heartworm test as well as the puppy, once she is old enough.
We have got to raise some money!

About Browny

Browny was adopted when she was about 4–5 months old after being found in poor condition. She has grown into a sweet, affectionate, and loyal companion who loves being with her people.

She has lived as both an indoor companion and a farm dog. She enjoys having room to explore outdoors and is accustomed to being around chickens and farm life.

Very loving and affectionate
Great companion
Good with children
Comfortable around animals in general
Enjoys having space to run and explore

Ideal Home

Browny needs a home where she can be someone’s beloved companion.

She should NOT be placed with other female dogs. Despite many attempts to make things work, she has repeatedly been attacked by the female dogs in our home. Most recently she was injured, and while she is recovering well, it confirmed that our home is no longer the safest place for her.

She would do best:

As an only dog, or
With a compatible male dog after a proper introduction

A securely fenced yard or country property would be wonderful, as she’s accustomed to farm life.

Health

Spayed
Vaccinations were current about two years ago but will need updating.
Recently sustained a bite wound from another dog but is recovering well.

House Training

Browny is most definitely house trained and will announce when she has to potty. She has primarily lived as a farm dog and is not accustomed to going on leash walks for potty breaks.

Important

Because she is a medium-sized, gentle dog, we want to be extremely careful about where she goes. We are looking for a loving, permanent home only. We will be selective to ensure she is never used for breeding, fighting, or as bait.

This is not a first-come, first-served adoption. We are committed to finding Browny the right family.
