We are a small rescue focusing on finding appropriate homes for breeds such as Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute and other arctic breeds. We ask for a minimum adoption donation of $250 for our adult dogs and $350 for puppies. To meet dogs, you must make an appointment with the foster family hosting the dog you are interested in. 🎉 Happy 1-Year Gotcha Day, Aylin (fka Maya)! 🐾❤️ It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since this sweet pup found her forever home. We love seeing our rescue alumni happy, loved, and living their best lives. Here’s a special update from her family:

What a year it’s been with our Aylin girl. She has truly blossomed into such a strong and independent girly. She is her sister’s shadow and needs to be near her, touching her, napping next to her or have eyes on her at all times. When we first got her she was so scared of men and now she’ll just go up to anyone and everyone and want belly rubs. She’s still our talker, and has lots to say. We’ve worked really hard to build her confidence and earn her trust. We call her “tuck tuck” because she loves to tuck herself into wherever she can fit. She has fit into our little family perfectly. 🤍

Meet Nova! This adorable girl is officially 8 weeks old and ready to find her forever home!

Nova was rescued from a California shelter with her mom and siblings when she was just two weeks old. She’s spent the last several weeks growing, learning, and showing off her personality in foster care — and her foster says she’s definitely the independent one of the bunch.

Nova is confident, curious, and perfectly happy exploring the world at her own pace. She can entertain herself, enjoys doing her own thing, and would be a great match for a family who loves her independent spirit while still giving her plenty of affection, training, socialization, and adventures as she grows.

She’s still a young puppy, so her new family should be ready for all the usual puppy fun — potty training, learning manners, lots of playtime, and helping her become the best dog she can be.

For more than 220 days, Melon waited in a shelter. Day after day, this sweet young Husky watched life pass by without a family of her own. We knew she deserved more, so Arctic Rescue stepped in to give her the chance she had been waiting for. And since moving into foster care, Melon has absolutely blossomed.

At just 2 years old, she’s finally getting to discover what life outside of a shelter can be like. She loves car rides, spending time with her people, playing with other dogs, and experiencing all the little things she missed during those long months in a kennel. With every passing day, more of her sweet, playful personality comes out.

Melon can still be sensitive to loud or sudden noises, which isn’t surprising after spending so much of her young life in a shelter. When she feels unsure, she looks to the people she trusts for reassurance. A little encouragement goes a long way, and once she knows she’s safe, she keeps moving forward.

She also loves other dogs and has been learning how to play and interact with her canine foster friends. Gentle, respectful dogs have been wonderful confidence-builders for her as she continues learning their cues and practicing her social skills.
Melon is house-trained and comfortable in her kennel, which she sees as a safe place to relax. She even has the sweetest breakfast routine—sometimes she just needs a little pep talk and reassurance before she’s ready to eat and start her day. 🥹

Melon needs a patient, loving family who will make her feel safe, celebrate every bit of progress, and give her the time she needs to keep blooming. In return, they’ll get an incredibly sweet and loyal girl who has been waiting far too long to be someone’s dog.

Sweet puppy, Lucy, has been waiting for someone to choose her for nearly four months, and somehow, this sweet girl still hasn’t had any interest. 💔

Lucy was rescued from a poor outcome shelter in California in April and made her way to Arctic Rescue in early May. She was just a little puppy then, and while she’s been growing up in foster care, she’s continued waiting for the family who will finally make her theirs.

Now 7 months old, Lucy is an outgoing, playful, happy puppy who absolutely loves other dogs. She’ll happily spend her day running, wrestling, and playing with canine friends, then curl up close to her people when she’s ready for a nap.

She loves people of all ages and is doing great with potty training. Like any puppy, she’s still learning her manners — including keeping her excited greetings under control and recognizing when another dog is ready for a break from playing.

Lucy has also had safe introductions to cats through carriers and was friendly and curious, so she may be able to live with cats with proper introductions.

She’s spent so much of her puppyhood waiting. We would love nothing more than for Lucy to finally get the attention she deserves and find a family of her own.

Meet Lady! After raising a very large litter of 12 puppies, this sweet 2-year-old girl has officially retired from motherhood, and now it's finally her turn to be spoiled.

Lady is discovering how wonderful it is to simply be a dog. She loves sniffing around the yard, soaking up the sunshine, collecting squeaky toys, going for walks and car rides, and following her favorite person wherever they go. She's a true Velcro dog who absolutely loves attention, cuddles, and being included in family life.

Lady gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends, although she'd also be happy as your one-and-only as long as she gets plenty of companionship and enrichment. She's also been friendly and gentle with children with appropriate adult supervision.

She's still polishing some of the basics as she adjusts to home life. Lady is working on potty training and occasionally has an accident, and her enthusiasm for food can lead to a little counter surfing. With consistency, structure, and continued training, she's making great progress.

Lady is affectionate, goofy, social, and even has some entertaining Husky “talking” to share. After spending so much of her life caring for everyone else, she's ready for a family who will make her the center of their world.

Every adoption is a reminder of why rescue matters. 💕 We’re thrilled to announce that Jazzie has found her forever family! Thank you to everyone who played a part in her journey. Here’s an update from her new home:

Jazzie is adjusting really well. She gets really excited for her daily walks, she loves her bone, and she makes friends with everyone so easily, dogs and people alike. When she’s not showing her enthusiasm for cheese by spinning in circles, she’s cuddling with her dad on the couch. We love the heck out of her!

💛 FOSTER NEEDED 💛

Sugar is a 6-year-old, 65 lb husky who came into rescue after giving birth to her puppy at the shelter. She was a devoted mama, but now that her puppy-raising days are behind her, it’s finally her turn to be loved and cared for.

Sugar is calm, affectionate, snuggly, and wonderful with other dogs. She loves being part of the pack and happily sleeps alongside her canine friends and people. She has not shown separation anxiety, and is doing great with house training.

She’s also fantastic on leash with no pulling—which is pretty impressive for a husky! She loves her morning treat ritual and is an incredibly devoted, loving companion. Her one mischievous habit? She’s a bit of a counter surfer, so food left within reach may be considered fair game.
