Arctic Rescue is a Utah-based Arctic breed rescue, that has dedicated itself to saving dogs! Interested in fostering? Great!

We are a small rescue focusing on finding appropriate homes for breeds such as Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute and other arctic breeds. We ask for a minimum adoption donation of $250 for our adult dogs and $350 for puppies. To meet dogs, you must make an appointment with the foster family hosting the dog you are interested in. Happy 1-year Gotcha Day, Blue! 🐾❤️ It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since this sweet pup went home with his forever family. We love getting to see our rescue pups grow, thrive, and make memories with the people who love them. Here’s his family’s update:

Blue and I have had one epic year together! We road tripped the US, hiked some mountains, swam at the beach, and always found some good treats along the way! When he’s not busy trying to cuddle with me 24/7, he LOVES to go swimming! He’s happy and healthy, and I couldn’t have asked for a better adventure companion😊

Lux is looking for a home at Animal Protection Society of Caswell County in North Carolina ❤️

Lux is around 2 years old and weighs 54 pounds. He's a sweet boy who is having an especially hard time in the shelter environment. Staff are doing everything they can to help him, but they're worried about his well-being and are advocating hard to find him a home before he declines further.

Lux can be shy with new people and tends to warm up more quickly to women, although he has made male friends, too! He needs someone patient who will give him time to build trust and confidence.

He's done well meeting a variety of dogs, including puppies! He can be overly excited during introductions but settles down quickly. A confident dog could help him feel more secure, although he'd likely do well as an only dog, too. He's terrified of cats, so a cat-free home would be best.

Lux is house-trained, does well on a leash with clear guidance, and is neutered and vaccinated. He is heartworm positive and will need treatment.

Lux is a good dog who just needs a chance to thrive outside the shelter. With patience, love, and a safe place to call home, he has so much potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.

Kai is looking for his forever home through Buddy Love Dog Rescue near Rochester, New York! ❤️

Kai is 6 years old, weighs 70 pounds, and is an incredibly friendly boy who absolutely LOVES people! He's got that wonderful mix of playful Husky personality and laid-back charm. He loves chasing a ball and having fun, but he's also happy relaxing on the couch or lounging on the porch, watching the world go by.

Kai is also a smart boy! He already knows "sit" and "paw," responds well to redirection, and is eager to please. He's been neutral around other dogs, but his compatibility with cats and children hasn't been evaluated yet.

Takoda is our longest resident. He's been waiting for a home since January 2025. Nearly two years. Most of his young life 💔

He was just a puppy when he entered a California shelter as a stray. After spending time with another rescue, he came to Arctic Rescue in September 2025. Now, more than a year later, this handsome 2.5-year-old, 80-pound Husky mix is still waiting for a family of his own.

When he arrived, Takoda was deeply afraid of people and unsure of the world around him. With patient fosters giving him time and space, he has made incredible progress. He now enjoys affection from people he trusts, takes treats, and has made huge strides with handling, leashing, and car rides. Each step represents something that once felt scary becoming a little safer.

Other dogs bring out his playful side, especially when there's a good game of chase involved. He would do best with female dogs or mellow male dogs who can help him continue building confidence. Because of his strong prey drive, he needs a home without cats or other small animals.

Takoda has spent nearly 21 months waiting for a home. It's heartbreaking to think that he's spent most of his life without a family of his own. And while he's made so much progress, he'll still need patience and understanding when that family finally comes along. He needs someone willing to give him time to settle in, feel safe, and build trust at his own pace.

Takoda has already waited far too long. We hope someone will see past his fears and give him the chance he deserves.

Spade is one of our longest residents and has been waiting for a home for over 85 days 💔

It's hard to see any dog spend so long in rescue, but it's especially heartbreaking when that dog is a senior.

Spade is a 10-year-old, 38-pound Husky who spent nearly his entire life being loved by one person. Sadly, when his longtime owner developed a chronic illness and could no longer care for him, Spade's whole world changed.

Despite all the changes he's experienced, Spade remains sweet, affectionate, playful, and full of personality. He loves giving kisses, relaxing on the couch, and spending time with his people. He still has enough playful energy that it's hard to believe he's 10!

Spade is kennel-trained and making progress with potty training. He generally does well with other dogs, though he prefers mature companions over puppies or rowdy playmates.

He also has some classic Husky curiosity! Spade can climb fences and may slip through an open gate, so he'll need a home that can keep him safe and secure.

After spending so many years in a loving home, Spade deserves that comfort and stability again. He's had so much change in his life recently, and we're hoping someone will give this sweet senior the chance to settle in, feel safe, and enjoy the rest of his golden years surrounded by love.

Looking for a Husky who's good with cats? Roxy is your girl! ❤️

Roxy's foster mom says she's one of the sweetest dogs she's ever seen with cats! She absolutely adores her feline foster siblings and loves trying to give them kisses, whether they want them or not!

Roxy has been waiting for over 125 days, and not a single person has asked to meet her. We've shared her story nearly 15 times, and it breaks our hearts that such a wonderful girl continues to be overlooked.

Roxy is a 2½-year-old, 40-pound Husky mix who has come such a long way since arriving at a shelter as a terrified stray. Once too scared to leave her kennel, she's blossomed into a happy, affectionate, wonderfully goofy girl in foster care.

She loves playing in the rain, zooming around the yard, telling her people stories, and occasionally stealing a shoe. She lives with other dogs and cats, settles nicely in her kennel, and is always eager to learn, especially when treats are involved!

Roxy can be shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience, her sweet and silly personality shines through. She just needs someone willing to give her that chance.

This cute little bee is looking for a home! 🐝

Meet Indie, a 1.5-year-old, 40-pound Husky mix who is just as sweet as she looks in her bumblebee costume!

Indie was rescued from a New Mexico shelter after landing on the euthanasia list, and she's been making the most of her second chance in foster care. She's an incredibly affectionate girl who LOVES to cuddle and will happily remind you to keep petting her if you stop!

She's also full of personality! When Indie gets excited, she does the cutest full-body wiggles, spins in circles, and gets the zoomies. But when it's time to relax, she's more than happy to curl up on the couch with her favorite person.

Indie is completely potty trained, does well in her crate, and would love a family who enjoys hiking and outdoor adventures. She's lived with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, although she can be protective of spaces and treats, so she'll need a family willing to help her work through those behaviors. She's also done well with kids!
