Early childhood educators are among the most underpaid workers in the country. That gap isn't inevitable — it's a policy choice, and policy choices are shaped by who's elected.

Please remember to vote, early voting opens Oct 19 in Cook County.

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)

NAEYC promotes high-quality early learning for all children, birth through age 8, by connecting practice, policy, and research. We advance a diverse early childhood profession and support all who care for, educate, and work on behalf of young children.

Here's an interesting workshop series...

Relationships Matter! Powerful Interactions® to Start the School Year
Monday, September 14, 2026 | 4pm - 5:30pm CST
Instructor: Jonathan Fribley
Register at: https://cvent.me/lZv7X2

Young children learn best from adults that they have built strong relationships with. Every interaction is an opportunity to build a bridge that can support learning! We will examine how we can be intentional about “showing up” and activating relationships, using “Step 1, Be Present and Step 2, Connect.” By taking responsibility for relationships at the start of the school year we create a classroom climate that is ready for learning.
