We hosted a training session last night with surrounding fire departments. East Central Electric provided dinner for everyone, presented a classroom session on the dangers of power lines that we are exposed to during house fires, traffic accidents, downed lines from storms and so forth. They then presented a live demonstration with their mobile safety trailer.

Raffle tickets for Hogs and Hoses are on sale at Northview Bank (Hinckley Location) Slim's Service Hinckley Firehouse Liquors R&S Hardware Hinckley Kurt's Station Bear Creek Tavern. Tickets are only $1.00 each. Last year we had over 550 prizes...this year we're still doing the same. More beef pkgs and hog pkgs this year, smokers, grill, outdoor recreation items, hundreds of gift cards. We'll post when we get the list complete in a few weeks. Thank you.

We honored a fallen brother from the fire service today. He was part of a crew working the fires by Ely. Here he's being escorted to the cities. Our community thanks you for your courageous service. Rest easy...we'll take the line from here ❤️
